"Skripsi ini membahas tentang peran dan identitas ilustrator di tengah maraknya penggunaan AI Art. Keberadaan AI Art yang mampu menciptakan ilustrasi secara otomatis telah menimbulkan pertanyaan kritis apakah kehadiran kecerdasan buatan ini akan menggantikan peran tradisional ilustrator di masa depan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah wawancara mendalam dengan tiga subjek yang merupakan ilustrator berpengalaman, serta dilakukan observasi terhadap aktivitas mereka di media sosial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman dan pandangan beragam para ilustrator tentang potensi mereka akan digantikan oleh AI. Ilustrator meyakini memiliki kelebihan tersendiri dibandingkan dengan AI yang mendasari tindakan mereka dalam membuat ilustrasi yang berbeda dengan hasil ilustrasi buatan AI.

This paper discusses the role and identity of the illustrator in the midst of the widespread use of AI Art. The existence of AI Art which is able to create illustrations automatically has raised a critical question whether the presence of artificial intelligence will replace the traditional role of the illustrator in the future. The research method used for this paper is in-depth interviews with three subjects who are experienced illustrators, as well as observing their activities on social media. The results of this study show that illustrators has diverse understanding and views of their potential will be replaced by AI. Illustrators believe they have their own advantages compared to AI which underlies their actions in making illustrations that are different from the illustrations made by AI."

"Kebangkitan Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) telah mendorong banyak sektor pekerjaan untuk berkembang atau berisiko menjadi kuno. Industri penerjemahan tidak terkecuali. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mempraktikkan penerjemahan pascahumanis dengan Gemini. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan kelebihan dan kekurangan dari terjemahan yang dihasilkan oleh AI melalui penerjemahan puisi tradisional: yang diperoleh dan yang hilang dalam terjemahan, serta bagaimana prompt engineering dapat mempengaruhi hasil terjemahan dari beberapa Pantun Nasihat, Agama, dan Adat yang dipilih dari Pantun Melayu: Masa Silam dan Masa Kini (2008). Untuk tujuan ini, modifikasi analisis multi-fitur dan empat pendekatan dalam penerjemahan puisi yang dikemukakan oleh Holmes (1970) dalam Eesa (2008) akan diterapkan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kinerja Gemini dalam menerjemahkan masih tidak konsisten, tetapi adanya potensi untuk menjadi alat yang kuat jika mendapat bimbingan yang tepat. Bimbingan ini, dalam bentuk masukan yang diterima, yang harus dilakukan oleh penerjemah manusia yang akrab dengan genre teks dan konvensi teks yang ingin mereka terjemahkan.

The rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has incited many job sectors to evolve or risk obsolescence. The translation industry is no exception. The article aims to put posthumanist translation into practice with Gemini. The study aims to show the advantages and drawbacks of AI-generated translations through the translation of traditional poetry: what is gained and what is lost in translation, and how prompt engineering could affect the results of the translation of select pantuns of Wisdom (Nasihat), Religion (Agama), and Customs (Adat) extracted from Pantun Melayu: Masa Silam dan Masa Kini (2008). For this purpose, a modification of the multi-feature analysis and the four approaches in poetry translation as propounded by Holmes (1970) in Eesa (2008) will be applied. Findings indicate that Gemini’s performance in translating is still inconsistent, but it does have the potential to be a powerful tool if it received the right guidance. This guidance, in the form of the input it receives, must be done by a human translator who is familiar with the textual genre and conventions of the text they wish to translate.

"Kecerdasan buatan atau AI adalah simulasi pengetahuan manusia yang telah dikodekan ke dalam suatu perangkat lunak, biasanya digunakan oleh bisnis dan orang-orang untuk memanfaatkan perangkat lunak ini untuk mencapai tujuan dan sasaran yang diinginkan. AI digunakan di banyak sektor perekonomian seperti keuangan hingga layanan kesehatan. Perangkat lunak AI menjalankan aktivitas seperti pikiran manusia dan diprogram untuk melakukan aktivitas pembelajaran, penalaran, dan persepsi. Implementasi AI telah dimanfaatkan oleh banyak bisnis terkenal seperti speaker pintar seperti Siri atau Alexa. Kecerdasan Buatan telah digunakan di sektor medis melalui pengujian perawatan, menyarankan dosis obat, dan membantu prosedur pembedahan. Namun, hal ini menimbulkan kekhawatiran mengenai praktik etika seperti pelanggaran data pribadi pelanggan, kemampuan pengambilan keputusan yang bias, penggunaan data tanpa izin, dan manipulasi preferensi pelanggan. Laporan tersebut menyebutkan contoh pelanggaran data yang terjadi di bisnis skala besar seperti Cambridge Analytica, Canva, dan Optus. Untuk menghindari timbulnya masalah ini, bisnis harus membuat pedoman yang ketat untuk penggunaan dan penyimpanan data pribadi pelanggan, pelatihan karyawan yang ekstensif untuk menangani dan memelihara program AI, audit rutin dengan manajer risiko untuk melakukan pengawasan harian terhadap manajemen data untuk mendapatkan pemahaman. keamanan dan kepercayaan dengan pelanggan. Namun, AI juga bermanfaat bagi pengoperasian bisnis dan pencapaian tujuan serta sasarannya. Artificial intelligence or AI is a simulation of human knowledge that has been encoded into a software, usually used by businesses and people to utilize this software to achieve their desired goals and objectives. AI is being utilized in many sectors in the economy such as from finance to healthcare. AI software carries on activities like a human mind and is programmed to do learning, reasoning, and perception activities. AI implementations have been utilized by many known businesses like smart speakers which include Siri or Alexa. Artificial Intelligence has been utilized in the medical sector through testing treatments, suggesting medicine dosages, and assisting the surgical procedures. However, it raises concerns about ethical practices such as breach in private or personal customer data, biased decision-making ability, unauthorized use of data and manipulating customer's preferences. The report mentions examples of data breaches that have occurred in large scale businesses such as, Cambridge Analytica, Canva and Optus. To avoid these issues from arising, businesses should form strict guidelines to use and store of customer personal details, extensive employee training to handle and maintain the AI program, regular audits with risk managers to have a daily surveillance of data management to gain a sense of safety and trust with customers. However, AI also benefits a business's operation and achieving its goals and objectives. It may include automation of tedious tasks, providing innovative customer service while cutting down costs that have been utilized by Google that has been explained in the report. The AI integration with Starbucks Barista service has been successful in enhancing customer experience. With this adoption of AI, there should always be a balance between successful integration of AI while following ethical protocols set by the business and government to maintain a good relationship with customers and building their reputation and customer base."
