"ABSTRAKTesis ini membahas alasan dibalik dukungan organisasi Soka Gakkai terhadapKomeito dengan mitra koalisinya, LDP untuk melakukan penafsiran ulangterhadap Pasal 9 Konstitusi Jepang 1947. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatifdengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur/kajian pustaka, studi dataresmi yang dipublikasikan oleh media masa dan situs yang terkait langsungdengan objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pragmatismepolitik Soka Gakkai melandasi dukungan tersebut karena Soka Gakkai memilikikepentingan antara lain: (1) kepentingan politis yaitu keinginan Soka Gakkaiuntuk mendominasi seluruh Jepang dengan cara ikut berpartisipasi dalampembuatan keputusan dan arah kebijakan negara, serta mengontrol media danpublic figure, (2) kepentingan ekonomi, yaitu pengamanan aset dan kekayaanSoka Gakkai.

ABSTRACTThis research analyzes the motives of the Soka Gakkai's support towards theKomeito and LDP coalition to reinterpret the Article 9 of the JapaneseConstitution. This qualitative research develops the data through literature review,and by analyzing some official datas that are published by the media and sitesrelated to the research object. The results showed that political pragmatism ofSoka Gakkai is the main reason of why Soka Gakkai keeps supporting Komeitoand LDP coalition. Soka Gakkai has some interests behind this coalition: (1)political interests; Soka Gakkai's desire to dominate the whole of Japan byparticipating in the decision-making activities and influencing the governmentpolicies as well as controling the media and the public figures, (2) economicinterest; securing the assets and properties of the Soka Gakkai."

"Tesis ini membahas mengenai pengaruh Nokyo di dalam kebijakan sektor pertanian di bawah kepemimpinan Shinzo Abe, melalui penggunaan teori kelompok kepentingan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur atau kajian pustaka, studi data resmi yang dipublikasikan oleh kementerian, media masa, dan situs-situs yang terkait langsung dengan objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hubungan di antara LDP dan Nokyo masih sangat kuat terbukti dengan adanya kebijakan penyeimbang yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah. Selain itu, re-organisasi Nokyo tidak melemahkan kebijakan pertanian melainkan lebih menguatkan sektor pertanian dan juga petani.

The purpose of this research is to identify the influence of Nokyo as an interest group on agricultural policy under abe's Cabinet by using interest group theory. As a preliminary study this research employs qualitative method by collecting and analyzing data through literature review and some official data that are published by the media and website related to the reseach project. The result showed that relationship between LDP and Nokyo are still remain strong. Since Abe's Cabinet conducting a balancing policy to maintenance a good relationship with Nokyo after decided a new policy. Furthermore, Re organization under Abe's Cabinet not weaken the agricultural policy and farmers. The new agricutrual policy, make an agricultural sector more competitive and farmers became more independent and strong. "

"Pakar politik ekonomi Amerika Serikat Profesor Geoffrey B Hainswort pernah mengatakan bahwa komunisme dan sosialisme sebagai paham dan ideologi tidak akan mati, mereka hanya tertidur lelap, Hal ini pula yang terjadi di Indonesia pasca hancurnya Partai Komunis Indonesia (PKI) tahun 1965 serta semua regulasi tentang larangan paham Marxisme dan Leninisme, kelompok kiri di Indonesia seolah-olah menghilang. Baru pada tahun 1990 an Indonesia mulai muncul ke permukaan yang direpresentasikan oleh Partai Rakyat Demokratik (PRD). Dalam perjalanannya, PRD memiliki dinamika organisasi dan konflik internal yang berujung pada perpecahan gerakan. Sehingga dalam tesis ini. penulis akan mengangkat pertanyaan penelitian: Bagaimana implikasi perpecahan PRD terhadap radikalisasi gerakan kiri di Indonesia? Disamping itu, untuk memperkaya ulasan masalah tersebut, penulis juga akan membahas bagaimana format radikalisasi kelornpok kiri di Indonesia pasca perpecahan internal PRD, serta seberapa besar ancaman strategis kelompok kiri di Indonesia pasca perpecahan PRD. Dalam tesis ini penulis menggunakan metode observasi langsung ke dalam organisasi PRD dengan menjadi aktivis PRD dari tahun 2008,.sehingga ban yak hal-hal yang ditemukan dengan cara informal tanpa harus meialui jalur formal. Selain itu, penggunaan jurnal, buku-buku, situs internet, sertu literatur lain juga dipakai untuk melengkapi data dan fakta tesis ini. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini selain terpetakannya format gerakan kiri.

This also happens in Indonesia, after the collapse of the Communist Party of Indonesia (PKI) in 1965 and all regulations on the prohibition Marxism and Leninism, leftist groups in Indonesia seemed to disappear. In 1990s, the leftist group in Indonesia began appear as represented by the Peoples Democratic Party (PRD). In the process, PRD has an organizational change and internal conflicts that led to the disintegration of the movement So in this thesis. the author will raise the question: what is the implication of PRD disunity to the radicalization of the left movement in Indonesia? In addition, to enrich the issue, the author will also discuss a leftist radicalization format in Indonesia after the PRD internal divisions. as well as how much the strategic threat of leftist groups in Indonesia after the split of PRD. In this thesis, the writer use direct observation methods into PRD organization with becoming PRD activist from 2008, so many things that are found in an informal manner without having through formal channels. In addition, the use of journals, books, internet sites, and other literatures are also used to supplement the data and facts of this thesis. Results obtained from this study in addition to mapped format left movement in Indonesia after the split of PRD, in general we can also see the implications of the PRD movement towards various aspects of life in Indonesia (ideological, politicat economic, and socio-cultural), and in particular we can see?"
