"ABSTRAKTesis ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi proses perdamaian Israel-Palestina dari perspektif feminis multikultural dengan menfokuskan pembahasan pada partisipasi perempuan Israel. Pandangan feminisme secara umum berasumsi bahwa perempuan dinilai lebih damai dibanding dengan laki-laki, serta kesetaraan gender secara alami mendukung kebijakan yang mengarah kepada perdamaian. Meskipun demikian Israel yang memiliki tingkat kesetaraan gender tertinggi di kawasan Timur Tengah dengan level 72 berdasarkan Global gender gap index 2016 masih menghadapi konfrontasi militer dengan Palestina hingga saat ini. Kontradiksi antara asumsi feminis dan fakta-fakta yang terjadi di Israel dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analisis dari Miles dan Huberman dan menggunakan teori perdamaian feminisme Brock Utne. Tesis ini menemukan bahwa terdapat tiga hambatan dalam partisipasi perempuan Israel sebagai peace maker pencipta perdamaian , yang pertama diskriminasi perempuan dalam politik dan dalam gerakan perdamaian yang disebabkan oleh dominasi patriarki dalam masyarakat Israel yang militer sentrik, yang kedua diskriminasi terhadap perempuan Mizrahi yang disebabkan oleh dominasi perempuan Ashkenazi dan yang terakhir hambatan dari nilai tradisional Yahudi yang menghambat aktivitas perempuan dalam ruang publik. ABSTRACTThis thesis is conducted to explore Israel Palestine peace process from multicultural feminism perspective by enlightening Israeli women participation. Feminism generally assumes that women are inherently more peaceful than men and gender equality will naturally support policy that lead to peace. Nevertheless Israel whose highest level of gender equality in Middle East Region with level 72 based on global gender gap index 2016 , still face military confrontation with Palestine until recent day. The contradiction between feminist assumption and facts that occurred in Israel is analyzed by using qualitative method and descriptive analysis approach of Miles and Huberman and using Brock Utne rsquo s feminist peace theory . This thesis finds that there are three obstructions in Israel women participation as peace keeper, first is women discrimination in politic and peace activism caused by domination of patriarchy in military centric society, second is Mizrahi women discrimination caused by Ashkenazi women domination and the last obstruction comes from Jewish traditional value that constrain women activity in public realm.Keywords Israeli women participation, peace process, Israel Palestine, multicultural feminism."

"The interview entitled Piers Morgan Uncensored became a hot topic of discussion because Bassem Youssef, the interviewee, made a controversial statement because he was sarcastic in responding to the issue of the Palestine-Israel conflict. This article analyzes the interview using the sarcasm or conversational irony approach as a derivative of the negative politeness theory proposed by Leech (2014) to investigate the mechanism of using sarcasm and the implied meaning of Bassem Youssef's sarcasm and collaborated with comment analysis to see the audience's response. In addition, this article uses descriptive qualitative methods by analyzing dialogues containing sarcasm and quantitative to analyze audience responses. This study demonstrates that by employing sarcasm when discussing the Palestinian-Israeli dispute, a sensitive topic, Bassem Youssef generates more positive reactions in the comments area compared to negative or neutral ones. In conclusion, The study demonstrates that Bassem Youssef's utilization of sarcasm during the "Piers Morgan Uncensored" interview regarding the Palestine-Israel conflict led to a greater number of favorable audience reactions, so highlighting the efficacy of sarcasm as a communication technique for delicate subject.

Wawancara yang berjudul Piers Morgan Uncensored tersebut menjadi perbincangan hangat karena Bassem Youssef, narasumber yang diwawancarai, mengeluarkan pernyataan yang kontroversial karena menyindir isu konflik Palestina-Israel. Artikel ini membahas konsep one-state solution yang dapat dianggap sebagai alternatif untuk mengatasi konflik antara Palestina dan Israel serta tantangan-tantangan dalam mewujudkan gerakan one-state solution terhadap para pendukungnya. Tujuannya adalah untuk melihat persoalan solusi konflik Palestina-Israel secara lebih mendalam serta mengukur sejauh mana konsep one-state solution dapat menjadi sebuah gerakan politik yang jelas bagi rakyat Palestina. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menilai potensi perkembangan gagasan one-state solution sebagai gerakan politik bagi masyarakat Palestina dalam mewujudkan hak-hak yang tak terlindungi oleh two-state solution, serta berkontribusi untuk mencarikan usulan pemecahan atas persoalan Palestina-Israel. Penelitian ini mengaplikasikan metode penelitian kualitatif bersifat deskriptif dengan metode studi pustaka, pengumpulan data yang memusatkan sumbernya pada penggunaan buku-buku dan literatur-literatur lainnya sebagai objek yang utama. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah konsep one-state solution dapat dijadikan gerakan politik internasional yang dapat dipertimbangkan, untuk setidaknya menjamin kesetaraan hak bagi seluruh rakyat Palestina.

This article discusses the concept of the one-state solution, which can be considered an alternative to addressing the conflict between Palestine and Israel, as well as the challenges in realizing the one-state solution movement among its supporters. The goal is to explore the matter of resolving the Palestine-Israel issue more profoundly and evaluate the potential for the one-state solution to emerge as a distinct political movement for the Palestinian people. This research is expected to assess the potential for developing the idea of a one-state solution as a political movement for the Palestinian people in realizing rights that are not protected by the two-state solution, as well as contributing to finding proposals for solutions to the Palestinian-Israeli problem. This research applies a descriptive qualitative research method using a literature review approach, with data collection primarily focusing on the use of books and other literature as the main sources. The result of this research is that the one-state solution concept can be considered as an international political movement to at least ensure equal rights for all Palestinian people.
