"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik simak. Objek penelitian berupa data verbal teks yang dikumpulkan dari buku teks, kamus idiom Jawa, dan serat piwulang. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis referensial, taksonomi, dan semiotik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekonstruksi, mengidentifikasi, serta menguraikan kembali nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Jawa mengenai toleransi. Orang Jawa dikenal sebagai kelompok masyarakat yang memiliki ideologi hidup yang menjunjung tinggi sikap toleran antarsesama. Konsep toleransi yang dianut orang Jawa terungkap melalui proposisi atau dikenal dengan istilah unen-unen. Toleransi dalam penelitian ini meliputi tiga pengertian, yaitu 1 mengakui perbedaan, 2 menghargai perbedaan, dan 3 menghormati perbedaan. Proposisi atau unen-unen yang mengandungi makna toleransi adalah tepa salira. Unen-unen tepa salira sebagai suatu representasi konsep toleransi dikukuhkan oleh sejumlah proposisi lain yang berkonsep serupa yang telah terjaring.

ABSTRACT
This study used a qualitative method with literature review technique. The data of verbal text is collected from textbook, Javanese idiom dictionary, and piwulang literature. Those data were analyzed using referential, taxonomic, and semiotic analysis. The purpose of the study was to reconstruct, identify and redefine the local values of Javanese wisdom of toleration. The Javanese were known as a society who have an ideology that upholds the toleration. The concept of toleration which adopted by the Javanese was shown through proposition or known as unen unen proverbs . Toleration in this study was consisted in three meanings, those are 1 recognizing the differences, 2 admitting the differences, and 3 respecting the differences. Propostion or unen unen that contained the meaning of toleration is tepa salira. Unen unen of tepa salira in this study stands as a representation of the concept of toleration which was confirmed bythe other propositions whose similar concept with tepa salira. "

"[ABSTRAK
Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kearifan budaya Jawa, yaitu
sikap rila dan nrima dengan salah satu pemikiran filsuf Prancis era
Postmodernisme yakni Jacques Derrida, yaitu le don est impossible.
Perbandingan yang dilakukan akan bersifat deskriptif. Konsep rila dan nrima
akan dibaca melalui pemikiran Derrida yaitu konsep le don est impossible,
demikian juga sebaliknya. Setelah melakukan perbandingan pembacaan,
ditemukan beberapa unsur yang saling berhubungan ataupun bertolak belakang
dari konsep-konsep tersebut.ABSTRACT This paper aims to compare the wisdom of Javanese culture specifically
Rila and Nrima with one thought of French postmodernism philosopher, Jacques
Derrida. One of his interesting ideas is le don est impossible. This text used a
descriptive method. The concept of Rila and Nrima used as material that is read

two life stance of Javanese through Derrida's thought, the results can be drawn on

"ABSTRAK
One of the Javanese's highest cultures is the creation of cultural wisdom that conveys the concept of fairness as expressed in propositions as well as cultural expressions. This research aims to revive the memories of Javanese cultural wisdom especially those related to fairness. Based on the propositions, the objective of this research is to identify the
concept of fairness behavior in Javanese culture. This resear
ch is qualitative. The data were collected from text books
and literary texts validated by in-depth interviews as well as
forum group discussions. The data corpuses were analyzed
by using componential and taxonomic analysis. Through semantic and pragmatic analysis, the fairness concept in
Javanese culture can be identified.
Bisa ngrumangsani is the main principle of fairness in Javanese propositions and covers two sub-ordinates propositions, i.e. self-restraint and appreciation for others. Each of these two sub-ordinate propositions covers four sub-ordinate propositions referring to action, character, desire, and competence. All of these propositions are sustained by the other proposition creating a whole concept of fairness. The results of this research are expected to serve as groundwork on how the education of national character building relating to fairness behavior can be realized. "

"Budaya Jawa kerap kali bersinggungan dengan hal magis, termasuk konsep sakti yang terdapat di dalam aktivitas perdukunan. Konsep sakti ini berkaitan dengan bentuk dan proses pemerolehan yang beragam. Sebagai sarana dokumentasi realitas sosial masyarakat, sastra juga dapat memuat konsep sakti di dalam budaya suku Jawa. Secara singkat, tulisan ini mengkaji konsep sakti yang beragam dalam budaya Jawa melalui novel Kecubung Wulung karya Han Gagas. Kedua tokoh sentral di dalam novel ini, yaitu Suro dan Wujil, dinarasikan sebagai sosok yang memiliki kesaktian. Konsep sakti dikaji melalui dua tokoh tersebut. Kesaktian yang direpresentasikan melalui kedua tokoh dalam novel ini memiliki perbedaan yang kontras, baik dari segi bentuk, pemerolehan, dan keberlangsungan kesaktian tersebut. Konsep sakti ini pada dasarnya menjadi bentuk dan contoh fenomena yang terjadi di dalam masyarakat. Untuk mengkaji konsep sakti yang terdapat di dalam novel Kecubung Wulung, digunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra, sedangkan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Dari penelitian ini, diperoleh hasil bahwa kesaktian dalam suku Jawa dapat diperoleh dari keturunan dan atau tirakat yang dilakukan seseorang, kesaktian dapat berbentuk medium yang kasatmata dan tidak kasatmata, serta sastra dapat digunakan sebagai media evaluasi dan edukasi.

Javanese culture often deals with magical things, including the concept of magic contained in shamanic activities. This sacred concept relates to various forms and processes of acquisition. As a means of documenting the social reality of society, literature can also contain the concept of magic in Javanese culture. In short, this paper examines the various concepts of magic in Javanese culture through the novel Kecubung Wulung by Han Gagas. The two central characters in this novel, namely Suro and Wujil, are narrated as figures who have supernatural powers. The concept of sacredness is studied through these two figures. The supernatural powers represented by the two characters in this novel have contrasting differences, both in terms of the form, acquisition, and continuity of the supernatural powers. This sacred concept is basically a form and example of a phenomenon that occurs in society. To study the concept of magic contained in the novel Kecubung Wulung, a study of literature sociology was used, while the research method used was descriptive. From this research, it was found that supernatural powers in the Javanese tribe can be obtained from heredity and/or tirakat performed by someone, supernatural powers can take the form of a visible and non-visible medium, and literature can be used as a medium for evaluation and education."
