"Berbagai macam perilaku filantropi dilatarbelakangi oleh berbagai bentuk situasi, seperti sosial, ekonomi, politik dan agama. Skripsi ini akan membahas sebuah perilaku filantropi yang dimiliki oleh Muhammadiyah, yaitu satu bentuk perilaku filantropi yang berdasarkan pada nilai Islam yang kemudian di invensi tradisikan dalam bentuk amal usaha, dengan mengambil studi kasus pada TK Aisyiyah 3 Pondokcina. Tulisan ini ingin memperlihatkan bagaimana sebuah aktivitas flantropi Islam dimanifestasikan dengan menggunakan cara Muhammadiyah. Di sisi lain juga memperlihatkan bagaimana amal usaha memberikan dorongan bagi anggota organisasi Muhammadiyah dan guru memiliki perilaku filantropi Islam yang aktif dan produktif.

Various kinds of philanthropic behaviour are motivated by various forms of situations, such as social economic, political and religious. This studies will discuss about philanthropic behaviour by Muhammadiyah that is a form of behaviour based on Islamic values which is then invented tradition in the form of amal usaha, by taking a case study at TK Aisyiyah 3 Pondokcina . This paper wants to shows an Islamic philanthropic activity is realized using the Muhammadiyah method. On the other hand, also how amal usaha provide Muhammadiyah members organizations and teachers to have active and productive Islamic philanthropic behaviour."

"Penelitian ini mengkaji penyelenggaraan program beasiswa Hé-MAn sebagai bentuk pengelolaan kegiatan berderma dalam konteks pendekatan ekonomi-ekonomi kemanusiaan (Ekonomi-Ekonomi Kemanusiaan) di masa pandemi COVID-19. Program beasiswa Hé-MAn hadir sebagai aksi filantropis untuk menjawab permasalahan ekonomi mahasiswa dengan memberikan bantuan biaya pendidikan. Meskipun berada di bawah kerangka berderma yang spontan dan berbasis solidaritas, pengelolaan program ini tidak terlepas dari adanya pengaturan yang bertujuan untuk memastikan transparansi dan akuntabilitas, serta menghindari penyalahgunaan dana. Tujuan sosial utama dari program ini adalah memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi mereka. Meskipun niat awalnya mulia, pengaturan yang ada untuk menjaga pertanggungjawaban justru memunculkan dinamika moral di antara para penerima, pengelola, dan donor beasiswa. Dinamika ini mencerminkan tantangan dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara niat baik filantropis dan implementasi yang adil dan transparan.

This study examines the dynamics of the Hé-MAn scholarship program as a form of charity within the context of Ekonomi Kemanusiaan, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has broadly impacted economies, including student finances. The Hé-MAn scholarship program emerged as a philanthropic initiative to address the economic challenges faced by students by providing educational financial aid. Although it operates under the framework of charity, the management of this program involves regulations aimed at ensuring transparency and accountability, and preventing the misuse of funds. The primary social goal of this program is to provide students with the opportunity to continue their higher education. Despite its noble intentions, the existing regulations to maintain accountability have led to moral dynamics among recipients, administrators, and donors. These dynamics highlight the challenges of balancing philanthropic intentions with fair and transparent implementation."

"ABSTRAKTesis ini membahas American Philanthropy John D. Rockfeller yang merupakan salah satu tokoh penting dalam era industrialisasi Amerika, sekaligus pendiri The Rockfeller Foundation. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode analisa deskripstif. Analisa data meliputi deskripsi mengenai definisi filantropi, riwayat singkat John D Rockefeller, yayasan Rockefeller Foundation serta warisan filantropi yang terlihat di ExxonMobil, Ford Foundation serta Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Warisan filantropi Rockefeller yang terlihat di ketiga yayasan tersebut terletak pada kesamaannya yaitu; Berasal dari seorang entrepreneur yang sukses dan memiliki perusahaan yang besar dan terkenal. Rockefeller dengan perusahaan minyak (Standard Oil Company), Ford dengan perusahaan otomotif (Ford Motor Company) dan Gates dengan perusahaan teknologi (Microsoft) Menjunjung tinggi nilai kekeluargaan. Rockefeller mewariskan yayasannya untuk dijalankan oleh keturunannya. Ford didirikan dan dijalankan oleh keluarga di daerah Michigan. Bill Gates menggandeng istrinya Melinda Gates untuk mendirikan dan menjalankan yayasan. Kemiripan ini memberikan gambaran pentingnya nilai kekeluargaan bagi ketiga yayasan ini Ketiga yayasan tersebut memulai kegiatan filantropinya di Amerika Serikat dan seiring berjalannya waktu, mulai meluas ke negara lain. Patriotisme ketiga pendiri ini terlihat dari keputusan mereka untuk melakukan perbaikian dalam negeri terlebih dahulu baru melakukan ekspansi ke luar Amerika. Meskipun memiliki prioritas fokus di bidang yang berbeda, namun semua yang dilakukan memiliki satu tujuan yang sama, yaitu untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan memberi kembali kepada warga dunia.Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa filantropi yang dijalankan oleh Rockefeller merupakan hasil dari kombinasi perusahaan yang sukses dan pebisnis yang bersifat altruistik dan menggunakan yayasan sebagai sarana untuk menghasilkan filantropi.

ABSTRACTThis thesis is about the philanthropy of John D Rockefeller, one of America’s leading economists during the industrialization age. He is also known as the establisher of The Rockefeller Foundation. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis as its method. The analysis of data will include definitions about philanthropy, a short biography of John D Rockefeller Sr, The Rockefeller Foundation and also the inheritance of his philanthropy in ExxonMobil, Ford Foundation and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Rockefeller’s philanthropy can be seen in the three foundations through the below similarities: All three foundations were founded by successful entrepreneurs and owns a big and renowned company. Rockefeller with his oil company (Standard Oil Company), Ford with his automotive company (Ford Motor Company) and Bill Gates with his information technology company (Microsoft). Prioritizes family values. Rockefeller inherited his foundation to be run by his family. Ford Foundation was established and run by a family from Michigan. Whereas Bill Gates partnered with his wife Melinda to establish their foundation. These similarities lets the world see how important family is to the founders. All three foundations started their philanthropic activities in America and, as time went by, they expanded to other countries. The founders patriotic view can be reflected through their decision to improve the welfare of Americans first and then expand to others. Even though the foundations have focused on different areas, but they all have the same priority and that is to give back and improve the people of the world’s welfare.The conclusion of the research is that Rockefeller’s philanthropy is a result of a successful entrepreneurship combined with an entrepreneur with altruism that uses foundation as their vehicle to produce philanthropy."
