"Proses seleksi adalah salah satu tahap dalam kegiatan pengembangan koleksi. Proses seleksi dilakukan untuk seluruh jenis koleksi, termasuk koleksi audiovisual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi proses seleksi dalam kegiatan pengembangan koleksi audiovisual di Perpustakaan Kemendikbudristek. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aspek bahasa dan subjek koleksi menjadi prioritas ketika memilih koleksi audiovisual. Kedua aspek tersebut disesuaikan dengan pemustaka yang dilayani. Pedoman Pengembangan Koleksi Kemendikbudristek berfungsi sebagai acuan dalam melakukan proses seleksi koleksi audiovisual. Kebijakan tersebut menjadikan proses seleksi koleksi audiovisual lebih terarah pada visi dan misi lembaga induk. Pustakawan berperan sebagai pelaksana dan penentu dalam proses seleksi koleksi audiovisual. Pustakawan juga diharapkan mampu mengatasi kendala yang sering kali terjadi dalam proses seleksi koleksi audiovisual. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah proses seleksi koleksi audiovisual dilakukan dengan memprioritaskan aspek bahasa dan subjek koleksi sesuai kebijakan pengembangan koleksi meskipun dalam kenyataannya masih ditemukan sedikit unsur subjektivitas. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah Perpustakaan Kemendikbudristek dapat mulai mengelola koleksi audiovisual digitalnya dalam suatu laman dan dapat mempertimbangkan data peminjaman koleksi audiovisual ketika melakukan proses seleksi.

The selection process is one of the stages in collection development. The selection process is carried out for all types of collections, including audiovisual collections. This research aims to identify the selection process in the development of audiovisual collections at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Library. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection is done through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of this research are that language and subject aspects of collections are prioritized when selecting audiovisual collections. Both aspects are adjusted to the users served. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Library Collection Development Guidelines works as a reference in the selection process of audiovisual collections. This policy directs the selection process of audiovisual collections 2 more towards the vision and mission of the institution. Librarians play a role as implementers and decision-makers in the selection process of audiovisual collections. Librarians are also expected to overcome obstacles that often occur in the selection process of audiovisual collections. The conclusion of this research is that the selection process of audiovisual collections is carried out prioritizing language aspects and collection subjects in accordance with collection development policies, although in reality, there are still some elements of subjectivity found. The suggestion that can be given is that the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Library can begin managing its digital audiovisual collections on a webpage and can consider audiovisual collection loan data when carrying out the selection process."

"Penelitian ini membahas terkait analisis kebutuhan pengguna dalam pengembangan koleksi jurnal elektronik di perpustakaan lembaga penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi praktik dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh Perpustakaan BRIN dalam melakukan analisis kebutuhan pengguna terkait koleksi jurnal elektronik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen, dari Maret hingga Mei 2024. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa praktik analisis kebutuhan pengguna di Perpustakaan BRIN memiliki 3 (tiga) tahapan, yakni identifikasi data yang akan dikaji, pengumpulan data, dan interpretasi data. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa praktik tersebut mengombinasikan survei dan analisis bibliometrik yang dilakukan oleh tim e-resources beranggotakan pustakawan dan analis data yang tidak terbatas pada lulusan program studi tertentu dengan berpedoman pada ID Scopus dan waktu pengerjaan selama kurang lebih satu minggu. Hasil analisis disosialisasikan kepada pusat riset dan dibuat rekomendasi langganan jurnal elektronik untuk proses pengadaan koleksi. Kendala yang dihadapi praktik tersebut meliputi kesadaran periset yang rendah untuk berpatisipasi mengisi survei, ketidakakuratan ID Scopus periset, serta keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tim e-resources. Saran yang diajukan adalah memperluas analisis bibliometrik dengan menggunakan ID Sinta dan pustakawan aktif untuk menindaklanjuti hasil pengadaan. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah mengevaluasi pemakaian jurnal elektronik dan e-resources lainnya.

This study explores user needs analysis in e-journal collection development at a research institution’s library. This research aims to identify the practices and obstacles the BRIN Library faces in conducting user needs analysis for e-journal collection. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, from March to May 2024. The results of this study indicate that the user needs analysis practice at BRIN Library has three stages, identifying the data to be examined, collecting data, and interpreting data. It can be concluded that these practices combine surveys and bibliometric analysis conducted by an e-resources team consisting of librarians and data analysts, following Scopus IDs and taking approximately one week to complete. The analysis results are communicated to the research centers, and recommendations for e-journal subscriptions are made for the collection acquisition. The challenges faced in these practices include low researcher awareness in surveys, inaccuracies in researchers' Scopus IDs, and the e-resources team's limited knowledge and skills. Suggestions include expanding the bibliometric analysis using Sinta IDs and having librarians follow up on the acquisition results. Suggestions for future research include evaluating the usage of e-journals and other e-resources"

"Pelecehan seksual verbal adalah salah satu bentuk kekerasan seksual. Rendahnya jumlah kasus  pelecehan seksual verbal yang dilaporkan merupakan pendorong untuk meneliti perilaku pencarian informasi penyintas pelecehan seksual verbal. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode studi kasus pada mahasiswa yang pernah mengalami pelecehan seksual verbal. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan studi pustaka. Wawancara dilakukan kepada 5 informan yang memenuhi kriteria berupa mahasiswa dan pernah mengalami pelecehan seksual verbal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kebutuhan informasi ini didalami beasarkan pada kebutuhan fisiologis, emosional, dan kognitif. Ditemukan perbedaan informasi yang dicari antara penyintas laki-laki dengan perempuan. Penyintas laki-laki lebih mencari informasi tentang laki-laki sebagai penyintas karena laki-laki lebih dianggap tidak mungkin menjadi penyintas. Meski demikian, setiap penyintas cenderung mencari informasi sebagai bentuk edukasi diri dan tidak memilih untuk melapor lebih lanjut. Alasan penyintas tidak melapor kepada Pusat Pelayanan Terpadu (PPT) adalah normalisasi pelecehan seksual verbal, sulit mengumpulkan bukti, dan persepsi buruk terhadap PPT.

Verbal sexual harrasment is a form of sexual violence. The low number of reported cases of  verbal sexual harassment is an incentive to research the behavior of survivors of information. This research was conducted with an approach with a case study method on college student who had experienced verbal sexual harrasment. Data were collected through interviews and literature study. Interviews were conducted with 5 informants who met the criteria in the form of college students and had experienced verbal sexual harassment.

The results showed that the survivors carried out information stages according to the ISSAS information search model or Information Search of Sexual Assault Survivor. This information need is based on physiological, emotional, and cognitive needs. There were differences in the information sought between male and female survivors. Male survivors are more likely to seek information about men as survivors because men are considered less likely to be survivors. Nevertheless, survivors tend to seek information as a form of self-education and do not want to report further. The reasons survivors did not report to the Pusat Pelayanan Terpadu (PPT) were verbal sexual normalization, difficulty gathering evidence, and poor perception of PPT. "

"Penelitian ini menganalisis representasi pemanfaatan perpustakaan pribadi dan buku sebagai sarana untuk pemecahan masalah dalam film Habibie & Ainun 1 dengan menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes. Film ini menggambarkan Rudy Habibie selaku tokoh utama, sebagai seseorang yang memanfaatkan perpustakaan pribadinya untuk mengembangkan pengetahuan dan memecahkan masalah personal serta profesional. Analisis denotasi dan konotasi pada tujuh adegan dalam film tersebut menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan pribadi dan buku berperan penting dalam perjalanan hidup dan karir Habibie, hal ini harus digarisbawahi mengenai pentingnya akses terhadap informasi dan pengetahuan. Selain itu, penelitian ini menambahkan perspektif baru dalam literatur dengan menyoroti peran perpustakaan pribadi yang masih terbilang kurang diteliti dibanding perpustakaan umum dan akademik. Penelitian ini mengimplikasikan pentingnya memiliki perpustakaan pribadi dan pemanfaatan buku, serta mendorong lebih banyak film yang mempromosikan nilai-nilai pendidikan dan literasi informasi.

This research analyzes the representation of the utilization of personal libraries and books as a means of problem-solving in the film Habibie & Ainun 1 using Roland Barthes semiotic approach. The film potrays Rudy Habibie, the main character, as someone who utilizes his personal library to develop knowledge and solve both personal and professional problems. Denotative and connotative analysis of seven scenes in the film show that personal libraries and books play a significant role in Habibie’s life and career, also this film emphasizing the importance of access to information and knowledge. Additionally, this research contributes a new perspective to the literature by highlighting the role of personal libraries, which are relatively under-researched compared to public and academic libraries. This research implies the importance of having a personal library and utilizing books, also encourage more films to promote the values of education and information literacy."

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang peran perpustakaan sekolah dalam menunjang kegiatan belajar-mengajar di Semut-Semut The Natural School. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah peran perpustakaan dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran di perpustakaan Semut-Semut The Natural School masih dalam tahap awal dimana perpustakaan hanya sebagai pusat sumber belajar, pusat kegiatan membaca dan pusat kegiatan literasi informasi. Saran dari peneliti untuk pengembangan perpustakaan Semut-Semut The Natural School adalah menambah koleksi perpustakaan, memperluas ruangan perpustakaan, menyediakan fasilitas penunjang seperti ruang diskusi dan meja belajar, meningkatkan kerja sama dan perhatian dari berbagai pihak, dan menyediakan dana yang cukup untuk keperluan perpustakaan.

The thesis discusses about the role of the school library in supporting teaching and learning activities at Semut-Semut The Natural School. This research uses qualitative approach and case study method. The conclusion is the Semut-Semut The Natural School’s library is still in the early phase in supporting the learning activities where library only as a center of learning source, a center of reading, and a center of literacy information activities. Suggestion from the writer to develop the Semut-Semut The Natural School is adding the library collection, expanding the library room, providing ancillary facilities such as disscussion room and learning table, building cooperation of various people and providing sufficient funds for library needed."

"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas mengenai pemanfaatan koleksi anak untuk biblioterapibagi anak penderita kanker dalam menjalani pengobatannya di Yayasan KasihAnak Kanker Indonesia (YKAKI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisispemanfaatan koleksi anak untuk biblioterapi bagi anak penderita kanker dalammenjalani pengobatannya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metodestudi kasus. Dalam prosesnya, dilakukan analisis koleksi dengan pendekatanpengguna dan penggunaan diukur melalui persepsi pengguna, observasi penggunadan pengujian atas manfaat koleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa koleksianak yang disediakan YKAKI melalui program Sekolah-Ku didasarkan pada visidan misi program, perkembangan anak, pendidikan dan biblioterapi yangdiberikan melalui story telling bagi anak usia 0-6 tahun. Koleksi yang digunakanyaitu 9,2% dari total koleksi. Namun, dalam proses pemanfaatan terdapat kendalayaitu bahan bacaan yang dikenal masih perlu ditambah dan ditingkatkan kualitas,menyesuaikan bahan bacaan dengan kondisi anak dan administrasi kegiatanbiblioterapi. Untuk itu, diperlukan perhatian agar membuat kebijakanpengembangan koleksi dan ketersedian koleksi, meningkatkan pengetahuan SDMguru/konselor mengenai manajemen koleksi anak dan laporan statistikpemanfaatan koleksi.

ABSTRACTThis research describes about usage of child’s collection for bibliotherapy tochildren with cancer in healing treatment at YKAKI. The Research conducted toanalyze the usage of child’s collection for bibliotherapy to children with cancer inhealing treatment. The type of this research is “qualitative” by “case studying”method. The useful of collections analysis by user and using approach and theuseful was measuredby the perception of user, user’s obsevation and the test ofThe usage of collection. The result of this research shows of the child’s collectionwas provided YKAKI through “Program Sekolah-Ku” based on vision and misionprogram, children development, education grade and biblioteraphy has been giventhrough story telling for children age 0-6 years. The collection was adoptedapprox 9,2% from the number of collections. The obstacle was discovered of theusage process are the reading materies was known still need enhance and advancethe quality, adapting the reading materies to child’s condition and theadministrative of biblioteraphy activity. Based on fact was discovered during theresearch, it necessary to make the policy of collection development and providingthe collection, advance the human resources knowledge (teachers or concelors)relate to the management of children’s collection and statistic report of thecollection usage."

"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas tentang evaluasi koleksi di perpustakaan Kementerian Sosial RI menggunakan metode konspektus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi koleksi buku perpustakaan Kementerian Sosial RI serta melihat kesesuaian koleksi yang dimiliki perpustakaan Kementerian Sosial RI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode konspektus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Evaluasi koleksi pada penelitian ini berpusat pada koleksi perpustakaan (collection-centered). Data dikumpulkan dan ditulis ke dalam lembar kerja konspektus serta dilakukan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa koleksi buku terbitan departemen sosial berada pada tingkatan 1, 2a, 2b, dan 4; koleksi buku terbitan non-departemen sosial berada pada tingkatan 1b, 2a, dan 2b; dan koleksi referensi yang berada pada tingkatan 2. Penilaian koleksi dilakukan oleh peneliti yang kemudian diberikan kepada pustakawan untuk dinilai kembali. Analisis bahasa pada terbitan departemen sosial, non-departemen sosial dan koleksi referensi memperlihatkan bahwa mayoritas koleksi memiliki indikator P yang berarti bahan literatur didominasi oleh bahasa Indonesia yang merupakan bahasa utama perpustakaan.

ABSTRACTThis thesis discusses the evaluation of book collection at the Library of Ministry of Social Affairs using the Conspectus Method. This study is aimed to evaluate the collection of the Ministry of Social Affairs Library. This study uses conspectus method with a qualitative approach. Evaluation of the collection in this study is focused on the collection. The data are collected and written into the worksheet and through the interview. The result of this study shows that the collection published by the social departement is in level 1, 2a, 2b, and 4; the collection published by the non social departement is in level 1b, 2a, and 2b; the reference collection is in level 2. The assessment of the collection done by researcher and given to the librarian to reassessed. Analysis of the language on the social departement, non social departement, and reference collection shows that the majority of collection has P indicator which means the material of literature is dominated by Indonesian language which is the primary language of the library."

"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas mengenai tingkat kepuasan kerja pustakawan di Pusat Perpustakaan dan Penyebaran Teknologi Pertanian (PUSTAKA) Bogor. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survai yang menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penelitiannya. Indikator dalam penelitian ini adalah kepuasan kerja, pustakawan, the Job Descriptive Index (JDI), kepuasan kerja pustakawan perpustakaan khusus, dan kepuasan kerja pustakawan berdasarkan jenis kelamin, usia, latar belakang pendidikan dan lama masa kerja. Analisis data yang digunakan dibantu oleh software Microsoft Excel untuk menghitung persentase dan hasil JDI. Secara keseluruhan, pustakawan dalam penelitian ini memiliki tingkat kepuasan kerja yang rata-rata tinggi untuk aspek pekerjaan itu sendiri, aspek atasan, aspek rekan kerja, dan aspek gaji. Sedangkan untuk aspek kesempatan untuk maju, tingkat kepuasan pustakawan adalah sedang.

ABSTRACTThis thesis describes about the level of librarian’s job satisfaction at the Central Library and Dissemination of Agricultural Technology, Bogor. This research is a quantitative research using a survey method with questionnaire as an instrument of research. Indicators in this study is the job satisfaction, the librarian, the Job Descriptive Index (JDI), a special library librarian’s job satisfaction, and librarian’s job satisfaction based on gender, age, educational background and length of service. Assisted analysis of the data used by the software Microsoft Excel to calculate the percentage and the results of JDI. Overall, the librarians in this study have high levels of job satisfaction in average for the aspects of the job itself, the aspect of supervision, aspects of coworkers, and aspects of the salary. As for the aspects of the opportunities for promotions, the level of satisfaction of librarians is moderate. "

"Penelitian ini membahas pemanfaatan data rujukan online oleh mahasiswa FEB UI. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran pemanfaatan data rujukan online; kelebihan dan kekurangan yang dirasakan mahasiswa dalam memanfaatkan data rujukan online; serta mengetahui fasilitas dan sosialisasi yang telah dilakukan dalam meningkatkan pemanfaatan data rujukan online tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian survei yang menggunakan kuesioner sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar responden telah memanfaatkan data rujukan online yang dimiliki Pusat Sumber Belajar (PSB). Data rujukan online yang paling banyak diminati responden yaitu Thomson Reuters Datastream. Setengah dari jumlah responden memanfaatkan data rujukan online untuk mengerjakan skripsi dan setengah sisanya untuk mengerjakan tugas kuliah. Hasil penelitian ini juga menyarankan agar pihak PSB bekerja sama dengan para dosen dalam mensosialisasikan data rujukan online yang dimiliki dengan cara pemberian tugas untuk menggunakan rujukan online PSB FEB UI kepada mahasiswa.

This study discusses about the untilisation of online database reference by FEB UI students. The purpose of this study is to describe the untilisation of online database Reference; to find out the advantages and disadvantages perceived by student; and to find out whether the facilities and socialization is sufficient to support the students in using the online database. This research is descriptive quantitative research which is using questionnaire as an instrument to collecting data.

The results shows that most of respondents has use the online database reference that provided by Pusat Sumber Belajar (PSB) FEB UI. Online database reference which is the most preferred by respondets is Thomson Reuters Datastream. Half of the respondents use the online dtabase reference to work on their thesis and the other for doing the coursework.

The results also suggested that the PSB should cooperate with the faculty lecturer in term of online database reference sosialization."
