PURPOSE:Asthma is a heterogeneous disease characterized by various types of airway inflammation and obstruction. Therefore, it is classified into several subphenotypes, such as early onset atopic, obese non eosinophilic, benign, and eosinophilic asthma, using cluster analysis.
