"Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS) adalah sistem komputerisasi yang memproses dan mengintegrasikan seluruh alur proses bisnis layanan kesehatan dalam bentuk jaringan koordinasi, pelaporan dan prosedur administrasi untuk memperoleh informasi secara cepat, tepat dan akurat. Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) berbasis teknologi komputer merupakan sarana pendukung yang sangat penting ? bahkan bisa dikatakan mutlak ? untuk operasional rumah sakit.
Dalam kaitan dengan visi dan misi Rumah Sakit Pusat Otak Nasional, direncanakan suatu peta jalan atau cetak biru Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit yang akan mengikuti perkembangan Rumah Sakit agar manajemen dapat melaksanakan program-program yang dikembangkan di Rumah Sakit Pusat Otak Nasional dalam bentuk suatu Rencana Strategis dengan pendekatan Balanced Score Card beserta Key Performance Indicator masing masing.
Didapatkan strategi alternatif terpilih yang meliputi empat perspektif yaitu Perspektif Keuangan (financial) yaitu keberlangsungan kegiatan rumah sakit dan biaya efisien, Perspektif Pelanggan (customer) yaitu tersedianya layanan dan infrastruktur IT yang nyaman, tersedianya pengamanan aset perusahaan yang efektif dan pelanggan yang setia, Perspektif Proses Bisnis Internal (internal business process) yaitu optimalisasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit, efektifitas & efisiensi pembangunan dan pengelolaan infrastruktur IT serta Perspektif Pembelajaran (learning&growth) yaitu meningkatkan kompetensi dokter, paramedik dan karyawan, meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaaan informasi dan budaya kerja.
Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) is a computerized system that processes and integrates the entire business process flow in the form of a network of health services coordination, reporting and administrative procedures to obtain information quickly, precisely and accurately. Management Information Systems (MIS) is a computer -based technology is a very important means of support - even to say absolute - for hospital operations. In regard to the vision and mission of the National Brain Center Hospital, planned a road map or blueprint of Hospital Management Information System that will follow the development of hospital management in order to implement programs developed at the National Brain Center Hospital in the form of a Strategic Plan Balanced approach Score Card and a Key Performance Indicator respectively. Obtained selected alternative strategy that includes four perspectives: Financial Perspective sustainability of the activities that the hospital and cost efficient, Customer Perspective is the availability of IT infrastructure services and comfortable, the availability of effective safeguarding corporate assets and customers are loyal, Internal Business Process Perspective HMIS optimization, effectiveness and efficiency of the construction and management of infrastructure IT and Learning and Growth Perspectives that improves the competence of doctors, paramedics and employees, improve the effectiveness of information and work culture."
