"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mereplikasi efek audiens, menguji teori kekhawatiran evaluasi, dan melihat pengaruh kehadiran orang lain terhadap kinerja seseorang. Partisipan penelitian ini terdiri dari 40 mahasiswa University of Queensland, yang berpartisipasi dengan sukarela. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah independent-groups eksperimen. Partisipan diminta untuk mengingat daftar negara Eropa. Partisipan secara random dimasukkan ke dalam dua kondisi eksperimen: dengan kehadiran orang lain dan tanpa kehadiran orang lain. Penelitian ini menemukan ada perbedaan signifikan dalam pengingatan yang benar pada dua kondisi penelitian, namun, tidak ditemukan perbedaan signifikan berkaitan dengan perasaan sedang dievaluasi. Penemuan ini menunjukkan bahwa efek audiens terjadi, bahwa kehadiran orang lain mempengaruhi kinerja seseorang, bagaimanapun, tidak berarti bahwa para partisipan merasa dievaluasi.

This study aimed to replicate the audience effect, to test the theory of evaluation apprehension, and to examine the influence of the presence of others on one’s performance. Participants in this study consisted of 40 the University of Queensland undergraduate students, who participated voluntary. The research design used was experimental independent-groups, with audience presence being manipulated. Participants were randomly assigned to two experimental conditions: in the presence others and without the presence others. Participants were asked to recall a list of European countries. The study found that there was a significant difference in correct recalls in the two conditions, however, no significance difference was found with regard to feeling being evaluated. The result suggests that an audience effect occurs, that the presence of others influence one’s performance, however, does not imply that the participants feel evaluated."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara iklim organisasi dengan komitmen organisasi pada pegawai negeri sipil (PNS) di Kementerian X. Peneliti menggunakan Organizational Climate Measure (OCM) untuk mengukur iklim organisasi dan Organizational Commitment Scales (OCS) untuk mengukur keterikatan organisasi. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 63 orang.
Gambaran iklim organisasi dan komitmen organisasi di Kementerian X diketahui cukup positif dan tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif dan signifikan (r=.496, p<0.01, 2-tailed) antara iklim organisasi dengan komitmen organisasi pada pegawai negeri sipil (PNS) dalam Kementerian X.

This research aimed to detect the relationship between organizational climate and organizational commitment among government employees in the Ministry of X.The researcher use Organizational Climate Measure (OCM) to quantify organizational climate and Organizational Commitment Scales (OCS) to measure organizational commitment. Sample that used in this research are 63 people.
Description of organizational climate and organizational commitment in the Ministry of X are known quite positive and high. The result of this research indicate that there is positive and significant relationship (r=.496, p<0.01, 2-tailed) between organizational climate and organizational commitment in the Ministry of X.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasi pada pegawai negeri sipil di Kementrian X. Responden penelitian berjumlah 63 orang, dengan 38 laki-laki dan 25 perempuan (Musia=36,63 tahun, SD=1,1). Responden penelitian mengisi alat ukur job satisfaction survey yang mengukur kepuasan kerja dan affective, continuance, and normative commitment scales yang mengukur komitmen organisasi. Hasil menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasi pada pegawai negeri sipil di Kementrian X.

This study aimed to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment among government officials in Ministry X. Total respondents of this study were 63 people, consisted of 38 male respondents and 25 female respondents (Mage = 36,63 years, SD = 1,1). In this study, the participants filled in the job satisfaction survey as a tool to measure the job satisfaction, and affective, continuance, and normative commitment scales, that measure organizational commitment. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the government officials in Ministry X."

"[ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan skala baru dalam mengukur perilaku obsesif-kompulsif.
Survei diberikan kepada 194 mahasiswa program sarjana S1 dari University of Queensland. Setelah semua data
telah terkumpul dan diselesaikan, skala baru yang telah dikembangkan dari perilaku obsesif-kompulsif pun diuji
reliabilitas, Item Discrimination Index, dan validitas dalam skala hubungannya dengan variabel lain yakni locus
of control, status hubungan romantis, dan daftar Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory (OCI-R) baru yang telah
direvisi. Skala obsesif-kompulsif baru yang telah dikembangkan ternyata memiliki reliabilitas yang tinggi di
antara butir-butir lainnya. Item Discrimination Index menunjukkan bahwa tiap butir skala bisa dibedakan dengan
baik, dengan hanya membutuhkan tiga butir untuk diubah penulisan katanya (M = 32.40, SD = 8.17). Ditemukan
hubungan antara butir skala obsesif-kompulsif dengan locus of control (r(189) = .18, p = .013) dan variabel OCIR
yang bertugas untuk memvalidasi (r(189) = .37, p < .001), tetapi tidak ditemukan hubungan antara obsesifkompulsif
dengan status hubungan romatis (r(189) = .08, ns.). Skala butir yang baru dikembangkan pada
penelitian ini terbukti dapat berlaku untuk setting non-klinis serta memerlukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk

Skala pengukuran baru dari perilaku obsesif kompulsif atau yang sering disebut OCB telah berkembang setelah diuji
validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Internal consistency digunakan sebagai metode untuk mengukur reliabilitas dan Item
Discrimination Indices telah dijabarkan untuk melihat kualitas dari item-itemnya. Ada tiga prediksi yang diturunkan
untuk memvalidasi skala OCB yang baru. 192 mahasiswa/I berusia 18-47 tahun telah mengisi survei yang termasuk
tiga skala validasi OCB, yaitu International Personality Item Pool (IPIP) untuk Neuroticism, Informasi Demografis
untuk jenis kelamin, dan Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory Revised (OCI-R). Hasil dari penelitian tersebut menjawab
hipotesa pertama, yaitu bahwa peraih skor OCB tertinggi ternyata juga mendapatkan skor yang tinggi di IPIP untuk
Neuroticism (r = .14, p = .048). Tidak ada perbedaan skor OCB yang signifikan antara kedua gender, bertentangan
dengan hipotesa kedua yang menyatakan ada perbedaan skor antara kedua gender (t(189) = 3.50, p = .108).
Sedangkan pada hipotesa ketiga, skala OCB dan OCI-R berkorelasi positif yang menunjukkan bahwa skala OCB

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi reliabilitas dan validitas sebuah alat ukur baru untuk mengukur
Obsessive Compulsive Behaviour (OCB). Alat ukur yang terdiri dari 12 item disusun dan disebarkan kepada
mahasiswa PSYC3020, yang berusia 18-47 tahun di Universitas Queensland, Australia. Studi ini berhasil
menemukan bahwa alat ukur baru ini memiliki reliabilitas yang tinggi. Terdapat tiga hipotesis yang diajukan
didalam studi ini untuk mengevaluasi validitas alat ukur baru ini. Hal lain juga ditemukan bahwa OCB
mempunyai korelasi dengan neuroticism (r = .14, p < .05). Selain itu perbedaan rata-rata skor OCB antara
perempuan dan laki-laki juga dapat ditemukan, dimana perempuan memiliki nilai lebih tinggi dibandingkan
dengan laki-laki, walaupun perbedaan tersebut tidak signifikan (t(189) = 3.50, p = .001). Hubungan antara OCB
dan Desirability of Control juga dievalusi di dalam studi ini. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh tidak ditemukan
adanya korelasi antara dua variabel tersebut (r = .07, p = .33). Dari berbagai tes yang dilakukan, dapat
disimpulkan bahwa alat ukur baru ini memiliki reliabilitas yang tinggi dengan validitas yang rendah. Perbaikan
dalam beberapa bagian studi perlu dilakukan guna mengembangkan alat ukur baru ini. Namun, alat ukur baru ini
bermanfaat untuk menangani pasien tahap remaja akhir penderita Obsessive Compulsive disorder yang tidak

"Dalam penelitian ini, sebuah alat ukur keasertifan dibuat untuk digunakan dalam konteks khusus yaitu dalam rumah kos. Alat ukur ini diadaptasi dari the Rathus Assertiveness Scale (McCormick, 1984), dan diuji kepada 142 mahasiswa psikologi di University of Queensland. Analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa alat ukur ini memiliki reliabilitas yang cukup baik (α = .64). Kalkulasi Indeks Diskirimasi Item mengungkap bahwa pada umumnya, item-item dalam skala ini tidak terlalu tinggi angka indeksnya, namun kebanyakan item cukup baik angka indeksnya. Validitas dari alat ukur ini hanya terbukti sebagian, karena subskala Extraversion dari Eysenck Personality Questionnaire, sebagai salah satu dari skala validasi, tidak menunjukkan korelasi yang signifikan dengan skala GOOMS ini. Walaupun begitu, Rathus Assertiveness Scale dan Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale dua-duanya berkolerasi secara positif dengan skala GOOMS. Secara keseluruhan, skala ini menunjukkan reliabilitas dan validitas yang cukup menjanjikan, dan dapat berguna dalam konteks dimana keasertifan sangat diperlukan.

In this study, a scale of Assertiveness in share-housing was created. The scale was adapted from the Rathus Assertiveness Scale (McCormick, 1984), and was tested on 142 Psychology students at the University of Queensland. Statistical analyses revealed that the scale had an acceptable level of reliability (α = .64). Calculations of Item Discrimination Indices also revealed that on average, items were not very high in terms of their indices, but
most obtained sufficient figures. The validity of this scale was also only partially established, as the Extraversion subscale of the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire, as one of the three validating scales, did not show significant correlation with the GOOMS scale. However, the Rathus Assertiveness Scale and the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale were significantly positively correlated with GOOMS. Overall, this scale showed promising direction towards good reliability and validity, and could be useful for certain contexts where assertiveness
might be socially required in a community.

"Sebagai salah satu platform media sosial terbesar, Facebook adalah bagian integral dari pervasive media ini. Karena jangkauan dan besarnya global, tidak mengherankan bahwa Facebook memiliki pengaruh psikologis yang besar pada orang-orang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji hubungan antara harga diri seseorang, kepuasan tubuh, dan tingkat narsisme dalam kaitannya dengan penggunaan Facebook mereka. Dengan menggunakan convenience sampling, 852 peserta mengambil bagian dalam survei online yang mengukur variabel-variabel ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan korelasi positif yang signifikan dengan penggunaan Facebook untuk harga diri dan narsisme masing-masing tetapi tidak menemukan korelasi untuk kepuasan tubuh. Kesimpulannya, Facebook adalah alat yang kuat, tetapi bukan satu-satunya, dalam pengembangan identitas dan rasa diri seseorang. Dalam hal seberapa banyak itu dimasukkan ke dalam kesombongan mereka, itu dapat meningkatkan atau menurunkan rasa harga diri seseorang, kepuasan tubuh, dan bahkan narsisme. Penggunaan dan kepuasan Facebook akan bervariasi tergantung pada tingkat keterlibatan seseorang. Disarankan bahwa untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih konsisten, setiap orang menerapkan teknik sampel yang sama dengan meminta setiap siswa melaporkannya dan dengan memberikan instruksi yang lebih rinci dan tepat.

As one of the biggest social media platforms, Facebook is an integral part of this media pervasiveness. Due to its global extent and magnitude, it is no surprise that Facebook has a major psychological influence on people. The goal of this research was to examine the relationship between people’s self-esteem, body satisfaction, and narcissism levels in relation to their Facebook use. Using convenience sampling, 852 participants took part in an online survey that measured these variabless. Results of the research has showed significant positive correlations with Facebook use for self-esteem and narcissism respectively but did not find a correlation for body satisfaction. In conclusion, Facebook is a strong tool, but it is not the only one, in the development of a person's identity and sense of self. In terms of how much it feeds into their vanity, it can either increase or decrease a person's sense of self-esteem, body satisfaction, and even narcissism. Facebook use and satisfaction will vary depending on one's level of involvement., it is suggested that to achieve a more consistent result by everyone applying the same sample technique by having each student report it and by providing more detailed and exact instructions."

"Facebook with its large use in contemporary society has allowed various opportunities for users to engage with one another, present themselves in a personalised way that real life may not offer, and evaluate one’s self and others. With Facebook’s growing importance, this study’s aim was to assess how Facebook use was correlated to psychological attributes of empathy, narcissism, and self-esteem. Using a correlational design, 852 community sample participants (545 female, 289 male, 15 non-binary, 3 other-identifying) with a mean age of 28.94 (SD = 13.98) were recruited through an online survey distributed via social media, emails, and personal messages over the span of one week. Results revealed a significant positive correlation of Facebook use with empathy and self- esteem while a non-significant correlation was found for narcissism and Facebook use. These findings imply that more frequent Facebook use may help users to foster positive relations with others and their self, but not for relations that are egoistic in nature.

Facebook dengan penggunaannya yang besar dalam komunitas kontemporer telah memungkinkan berbagai peluang bagi penggunauntuk terlibat satu sama lain, menampilkan diri mereka dengan cara yang dipersonalisasiyang mungkin tidak ditawarkan oleh kehidupan nyata. Selain itu Facebook digunakan untuk mengevaluasi diri sendiri dan orang lain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat bagaimanapenggunaan Facebook berkorelasi dengan atribut psikologis empati, narsisisme, dan harga diri. "Facebook merupakan salah satu media sosial interaktif yang kerap digunakan orang-orang di seluruh dunia. Facebook telah terbukti bermanfaat bagi penggunanya dalam hal membangun hubungan sosial dengan teman, kerabat, atau bahkan orang asing. Namun, Facebook juga ditemukan dapat menyebabkan dampak negatif secara psikologis, seperti menimbulkan kecemasan sosial dan penurunan harga diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan Facebook terhadap tingkat kesepian, kecemasan sosial, dan harga diri individu. 852 partisipan (M = 28.94, SD = 13.98) menyelesaikan kuesioner daring yang mengukur penggunaan Facebook berserta survei untuk mengukur tingkat kesepian, kecemasan sosial, dan harga diri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Facebook mempunyai korelasi negatif yang signifikan terhadap kecemasan sosial dan kesepian. Selanjutnya, terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara penggunaan Facebook dan harga diri. Facebook is one of the most popular social media that offers a highly interactive social platform for people all around the world. Facebook has been found to be socially beneficial in terms of establishing social relations and connectivity with friends, relatives, or even strangers. However, Facebook might also cause negative psychological impacts such as causing social anxiety and decreasing self-esteem. This study aimed to examine the effect of Facebook use on individuals’ loneliness, social anxiety, and self-esteem. 852 participants (Mage = 28.94, SD = 13.98) completed an online survey measuring the nature of their Facebook use alongside the measures of loneliness, social anxiety, and self-esteem. The results showed that Facebook use was significantly negatively correlated with both social anxiety and loneliness. Furthermore, there was a significant positive correlation between Facebook use and self-esteem.
