"Tesis ini membahas mengenai gambaran stres dan coping stres pada istri pertama yang dipoligami. tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai stresor, proses penilaian terhadap situasi menekan, dampak stres dan strategicoping yang digunakan untuk mengatasi stres. metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara pada tiga istri pertama yang dipoligami, beserta tiga subjek pendukung.

This thesis discusses the description of stress and stress coping on the first wife who is polygamous. the purpose of this study is to get an overview of stressors, the process of assessing stressful situations, the effects of stress and strategic coping used to deal with stress. the method used in this study is a qualitative approach by interviewing the first three polygamous wives, along with three supporting subjects."
