Telah dilakakan pcnelitian tentang ekstraksi dan uji nktivitas amibakteri minyak atsiri dati rimpang bangle (Ztngiber cassumunar Roxb.) dengan ekstrak metode destilasi uap (steam distillation) be!Wlll1la kuning sebanyak 1,01 gram dan metoda sokletasi n-heksan be!Wlll1la oranye sehanyak 5,43 gram.
