"Iklan dengan visual animasi menjadi sarana yang efektif untuk pemasaran karena banyak menarik perhatian dan digemari masyarakat Indonesia. Di setiap negara, akan memliki preferensi tersendiri dalam media periklanan, salah satunya yaitu iklan dengan visual anime. Tren ini kini banyak digunakan di berbagai negara, tidak terkecuali di Indonesia, mengingat jumlah penggemar budaya Jepang di sini yang cukup tinggi. Dalam dua dekade terakhir, penggemar anime di Indonesia berkembang sangat pesat. Sehingga momentum ini dimanfaatkan oleh perusahaan dalam bidang promosi, salah satunya dengan menampilkan iklan dengan visual anime. Sehingga penelitian ini akan menganalisis hal yang melatarbelakangi perusahaan memilih visualisasi anime sebagai visualisasi iklannya dan alasan mengapa visualisasi iklan ini digemari masyarakat Indonesia. Fenomena tersebut akan ditinjau menggunakan teori animasi untuk menganalisis visual anime yang digunakan, teori komunikasi visual, digital advertising media digital, media Jepang, dan konsep visualisasi iklan. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Iklan yang akan digunakan sebagai bahan penelitian dalam studi ini adalah iklan Pocari Sweat “Bintang SMA”, Khong Guan “Sebuah Kenangan Manis”, Branz Mega Kuningan – Apartemen Jepang di Jakarta Selatan, Ichi Ocha Anime Ver., McDonald’s “Beda Roda Satu Jalur di Drive Thru McD”, dan iklan Kemenkes Kampanye Vaksin. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa iklan dengan visualisasi anime mendapatkan respon positif dari masyarakat karena tampilan visualnya yang menarik.
Advertisements with animated visuals are an effective means of marketing because they attract a lot of attention and are popular with Indonesian people. In each country, they will have their own preferences in advertising media, one of which is advertisements with anime visuals. This trend is now widely used in various countries, including Indonesia, considering the number of fans of Japanese culture here is quite high. In the last two decades, anime fans in Indonesia have grown very rapidly. So that this momentum is used by companies in the field of promotion, one of which is by displaying advertisements with anime visuals. So this research will analyze the background of companies choosing anime visualization as their advertising visualization and the reasons why this advertising visualization is popular with Indonesian people. This phenomenon will be reviewed using animation theory to analyze the anime visuals used, visual communication theory, digital advertising digital media, Japanese media, and the concept of advertising visualization. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The advertisements that will be used as research material in this study are advertisements for Pocari Sweat “Bintang SMA”, Khong Guan “A Sweet Memories”, Branz Mega Kuningan – Japanese Apartments in South Jakarta, Ichi Ocha Anime Ver., McDonald's “Different Wheels One Lane in Drive Thru McD”, and advertisements for the Ministry of Health's Vaccine Campaign. The results of this study indicate that advertisements with anime visualization get a positive response from the public because of their attractive visual appearance."
