"Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kronis (PPOK) masih menjadi permasalahan utama di dunia dengan angka kematian mencapai 3,23 juta. Prinsip dalam terapinya, obat dalam bentuk inhalasi lebih dipilih dalam pengobatan PPOK karena efek sampingnya lebih sedikit dibandingkan oral dan parenteral. Namun, data menunjukkan 50 – 80% pasien gagal menggunakan inhaler mereka dengan benar. Oleh karena itu sebagai apoteker, wajib memberikan penjelasan penggunaan inhaler yang benar kepada pasien seperti melalui Pelayanan Informasi Obat (PIO) dengan bantuan media edukasi kesehatan seperti leaflet dan juga video konseling yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan terapi. Leaflet dan juga video konseling dibuat berdasarkan penelusuran literatur melalui search engine yang kemudian informasinya dikumpulkan dan disusun dengan baik. Desain leaflet dibuat melalui website Canva dan video konseling dilakukan pengambilan di Rumah Sakit Universitas Indonesia dengan bantuan kamera ponsel dan diedit menggunakan aplikasi Capcut. Adapun informasinya memuat tentang definisi, indikasi, kandungan inhaler, DAGUSIBU (dapatkan, gunakan, simpan, buang), bagian inhaler, cara mempersiapkan alat, cara menggunakan, dan cara mengisi ulang inhaler yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan terapi bagi pasien.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is still a major problem in the world with a death rate of 3.23 million. The principle of therapy is that drugs in inhaled form are preferred in the treatment of COPD because they have fewer side effects than oral and parenteral drugs. However, data shows 50 – 80% of patients fail to use their inhalers correctly. Therefore, as a pharmacist, you are obliged to provide explanations about the correct use of inhalers to patients, such as through the Drug Information Service (PIO) with the help of health education media such as leaflets and also video counseling which is expected to increase the success of therapy. Leaflets and counseling videos are made based on literature searches via search engines where the information is then collected and organized properly. The leaflet design was made via the Canva website and the counseling video was taken at the University of Indonesia Hospital with the help of a cellphone camera and edited using the Capcut application. The information contains definitions, indications, inhaler contents, DAGUSIBU (get, use, store, throw away), inhaler parts, how to prepare the device, how to use, and how to refill the inhaler which is expected to increase the success of therapy for patients."
