Skripsi ini membahas mengenai fenomena perilaku 'ugal-ugalan' yang dilakukan oleh supir-supir bus Metromini sehari-hari. Perilaku 'ugal-ugalan' terjadi karena faktor yang melatarbelakanginya adalah masalah ekonomi, sehingga sistem-sistem transportasi informal lebih menjadi ukuran yang mereka gunakan dalam kegiatan transportasinya sehari-hari. Selain itu bagaimana hubungan yang terjadi antara supir-supir ini dengan penumpang, Provider Jasa, 'timer-timer', dan negara secara umumnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan desain eksplanatif.
