Research about robotics in the world has been growing, unfortunately our country doesn't follow this growing. This is become a reason why first step of this research is needed in robotics. This research explains about Movemaster with five degrees of freedom. As an early step, this research is limited only on its kinematics. This research doesn 't discuss about static and dynamic problem for Movemaster robot. The topic about frame coordinate assignment and articulation robot simulation with five degrees of freedom for web-based robot control will he discussed on this book. Inside this book, it will be discussed further about improvement homogenous matrix calculation using Denavit-Hartenberg method and continued by simulation of hand movement of the robot. Simulation is done with mathematic program language, where this programming results is expected become as web-based robot control."

This research is aimed to design an articulated robot 2 degree of freedom also controller which later on will be united to a gantry robot system which has 3 degree of freedom, movement for x, y, z. In this research used a computer which act as a processing unit for given data and also used microcontroller to process a command and then controlling motors and brakes. Processed data are x,y,z,i,j,k which is a position and an orientation, from this data will appear an inverse kinematic solution that it will be transferred to microcontroller to rotate motors at linkage so end effector will be lie on desired position and orientation."

"People have dreamed of machines, which would free them from unpleasant, dull, dirty and dangerous tasks and work for them as servants, for centuries if not millennia. Service robots seem to finally let these dreams come true. But where are all these robots that eventually serve us all day long, day for day? A few service robots have entered the market: domestic and professional cleaning robots, lawnmowers, milking robots, or entertainment robots. Some of these robots look more like toys or gadgets rather than real robots. But where is the rest? This is a question, which is asked not only by customers, but also by service providers, care organizations, politicians, and funding agencies. The answer is not very satisfying. Today’s service robots have their problems operating in everyday environments. This is by far more challenging than operating an industrial robot behind a fence. There is a comprehensive list of technical and scientific problems, which still need to be solved. To advance the state of the art in service robotics towards robots, which are capable of operating in an everyday environment, was the major objective of the DESIRE project (Deutsche Service Robotik Initiative – Germany Service Robotics Initiative) funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) under grant no. 01IME01A. This book offers a sample of the results achieved in DESIRE."
