"Resiliensi ekonomi merupakan perbincangan di dalam ekonomi yang tidak akan berhenti. Setiap negara dan wilayah yang menjadi bagiannya akan memastikan memiliki kemampuan resiliensi ekonomi yang cukup baik. Hal ini berkaitan dengan kondisi ekonomi yang tidak dapat diprediksi secara pasti. Pada saat kondisi ekonomi sedang terguncang, maka suatu negara yang memiliki resiliensi yang lebih baik cenderung akan mampu bertahan. Aktivitas ekonomi menjadi salah satu kunci penting untuk menopang ketahanan ekonomi dari guncangan. Struktur industri merupakan cerminan atas aktivitas ekonomi. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan resiliensi ekonomi Indonesia berdasarkan persebaran regional dan menganalisis secara empiris pengaruh struktur industri diversifikasi dan spesialisasi terhadap resiliensi ekonomi pada periode 1997-2015. Sampel yang diuji sebanyak 25 provinsi. Analisis empiris pengaruh struktur industri diversifikasi dan spesialisasi terhadap resiliensi ekonomi dalam penelitian ini hanya mencakup industri manufaktur dengan menggunakan Data Industri Besar dan Sedang. Pengujian estimasi yang diaplikasikan adalah panel statis dengan model fixed effect. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: pertama, adanya perbedaan kondisi resistensi dan recovery di dalam resiliensi ekonomi regional. Rata-rata resistensi regional berada di atas kondisi nasional, sementara itu rata-rata recovery regional berada di bawah kondisi nasional. Kedua, spesialisasi industri manufaktur berpengaruh positif terhadap resiliensi ekonomi regional. Ketiga, diversifikasi sub sektor industri manufaktur berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap resiliensi ekonomi regional. Keempat, ada beberapa spesialisasi sub sektor industri manufaktur yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap resiliensi regional berdasarkan pembagian dua kelompok wilayah.

Economic resilience is a discourse in economics that will not stop. Each country and region that is part of it will ensure that it has sufficient economic resilience capabilities. This is related to economic conditions that cannot be predicted with certainty. When economic conditions are shaken, a country that has better resilience tends to be able to survive. Economic activity is one of the important keys to sustaining economic resilience from shocks. Industrial structure is a reflection of economic activity. Therefore, this study aims to map Indonesia's economic resilience based on regional distribution and analyze empirically the effect of diversification and specialization industrial structures on economic resilience in the period 1997-2015. The samples tested are 25 provinces. Empirical analysis of the effect of industrial diversification structure and specialization on economic resilience in this study only covers the manufacturing industry using Large and Medium Industry Data. The estimation test applied is a static panel with a fixed effect model. The results of this study indicate: that first, there are differences in conditions of resistance and recovery in regional economic resilience. The average regional resistance is above national conditions, while the average regional recovery is below national conditions. Second, specialization in the manufacturing industry has a positive effect on regional economic resilience. Third, the diversification of the manufacturing industry sub-sector has a significant negative effect on regional economic resilience. Fourth, there are several specializations in the manufacturing industry sub-sector that have a significant effect on regional resilience based on the division of the two regional groups."

"Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari resiliensi permukiman informal urban dengan fokus pada keberlanjutan dan adaptasi Home Based Enterprises (HBE) dalam menghadapi risiko ekonomi dan lingkungan. Para operator HBE di permukiman tersebut menerapkan berbagai strategi resiliensi sehingga ruang HBE dapat berperan sebagai wujud pemenuhan kebutuhan ekonomi dan adaptasi terhadap kondisi lingkungan yang kerap kali dilanda banjir rob. Data diambil melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengamati dan menganalisis tiga hunian dengan HBE di Blok Empang. Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan bahwa ruang HBE berkontribusi dalam menghasilkan pendapatan bagi rumah tangga dan memperkuat jaringan ekonomi komunitas melalui hubungan sosial yang kuat di permukiman padat informal. Masyarakat juga melakukan upaya kreatif dalam mempertahankan hunian melalui strategi makro dan mikro terhadap banjir. Studi kasus ini merekomendasikan perlunya perhatian terhadap aspek-aspek bahwa hunian perlu dirancang sebagai ruang multidimensi sebagai upaya manusia dalam kegiatan menghuni, di mana hunian tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat untuk beristirahat, namun juga sebagai tempat untuk bekerja.

This case study aims to investigate the resilience of urban informal settlements with a focus on the sustainability and adaptation of Home Based Enterprises (HBE) in the face of economic and environmental risks. The HBE operators in these settlements implement various resilience strategies, allowing the HBE spaces to serve as both economic necessities and adaptations to the frequently occurring flood hazards. The data was collected through a qualitative approach by observing and analyzing three residential units with HBE in Blok Empang. The results of the case study indicate that HBE spaces contribute to household income generation and strengthen the community's economic network through strong social relationships within the dense informal settlement. The community also engages in creative efforts to maintain their residences through macro and micro flood strategies. This case study recommends the need to consider aspects that housing should be designed as multidimensional spaces to fulfill human activities, where housing serves not only as a place to rest but also as a place to work."
