"Tesis ini bertujuan untuk melihat peningkatan kompetensi komunikasi interpersonal dan kinerja pre ops pilot dengan memberikan pelatihan komunikasi interpersonal yang efektif. Berdasarkan penggalian data awal melalui wawancara dengan asisten manajer training dan chief pilot fixed wing, diketahui bahwa sampai saat ini belum pernah dilakukan pengukuran terhadap kinerja dan kompetensi komunikasi interpersonal pada pre ops pilot. Mereka juga mengeluhkan bahwa pre ops pilot yang ada di perusahaan memiliki kinerja yang belum maksimal, dimana komunikasi interpersonal merupakan aspek yang masih perlu dikembangkan. Sebanyak 7 pre ops pilot di PT. X menjadi sampel di penelitian ini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kompetensi komunikasi interpersonal dengan kinerja. Bentuk hubungan tersebut bersifat positif, dimana semakin tinggi kompetensi komunikasi interpersonal, maka semakin tinggi kinerja mereka. Selain melihat hubungan, peneliti juga melihat efektivitas dari pelatihan komunikasi interpersonal yang diberikan terhadap kompetensi komunikasi interpersonal dan kinerja. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan tersebut efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi komunikasi interpersonal, tetapi belum efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja pre ops pilot di PT. X.

The purpose of this study is to see an increasing of interpersonal communication competence and performance in pre ops pilots by giving an effective interpersonal communication training. Based on the initial data through interviews with the assistant manager training and chief pilot fixed wing, the company haven't been conducted performance appraisal and interpersonal communication competency in pre ops pilot. They also complained that the existing pre ops pilot doesn't have an optimized performance, where interpersonal communication is an aspect that needs to be developed. Seven pre ops pilot at PT. X participated in this study.

The result indicated that there is a significant relationship between interpersonal communication competency and performance. The form of the relationship is positive, where the higher interpersonal communication competence that they have, the performance is also high. In addition, the researcher also examined the effectiveness of interpersonal communication training toward interpersonal communication competence and performance. The result showed that training is effectively improve interpersonal communication competence, but not in the performance of pre ops pilot in PT.X."

"Penelitian ini berfokus pada assesmen kebutuhan pelatihan komunikasi interpersonal pada bebcrapa posyandu di wilayah Jakarta Timur untulc mendapat gambaran mengenai ketemmpilan komunikasi interpersonal Rader posyandu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Model operasional assesmen menggunakan metode wawancara pada pam ibu dengan balita status gizi kurang atau buruk yang datang ke posyandu dan focus group discussion pada sej umlah kader posyandu. Responden wawancara beljumlah 4 orang dan partisipan Focus Group Discussion bezjumlah [4 orang. Setelah data didapat, dilalmlran analisis wawaneara dan Focus Group Discussion untuk melihat kebutulmn pelatihan komunikasi interpersonal bagi kader posyandu. Dari analisis terhadap basil wawancara, disimpulkan: 1) keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal balk verbal maupun non verbal perlu untuk ditingkatkan; 2) respondcn mendukung bila kader posyandu dan bidan mendapatkan pelatihan komunilcasi interpersonal. Sementara dari basil analisis terhadapjbcus group discussion, disimpullcanz 1) partisipan mengalami lcesulilan dalam melakukan petsuasi pada pam ibu untuk mjin datang ke posyandu; 2) partisipan merasakan adanya kebutuhan pelatihan komunilcasi interpersonal untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kapasitas kinder posyandu. Hasil assesmen akan diteruskan dengan rnelakukan pelatihan komunikasi interpersonal bagi kaderdan bidan di posyandu serta menyarankan agar dilakukan penelitian lanjutan dengan meneliti aspek-aspek lainnya selain komunikasi interpersonal yang ikut menentukan kcputusan ibu unmk datang ke posyandu.

The focus of this research is a need assesrnent for interpersonal communication skill training at several posyandus in %t Jakarta with objective to gain informations regarding interpersonal oommtmication skill within posyandu cadres This research is a qualitative research. Assessment operational model applies a general interview guide approach method to mothers of under nutrition children and focus group discussion to posyandu cadres. Participants for the interview are 4 persons while participants for the focus group discussion are I4 persons.

The following are the interview research results: 1) verbal and non verbal interpersonal skill needs enhancement; 2) training for poqrarrdu cadres and midwives in interpersonal communication skill are needed, while the focus group discussion research results are: 1) participants are facing difficulties in persuading mothers' of children to participate in posyandu activities; 2) lack of interpersonal communication skill training in order to improve quality and ability of posyandu cadres. This research suggests a follow up research focused on other aspects which reinforce mothers' decisions to participate in posyandu activities."

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang komunikasi interpersonal pustakawan di bagian layanan sirkulasi Perpustakaan Umum Kota Depok. Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai komunikasi interpersonal pustakawan di bagian layanan sirkulasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pustakawan Perpustakaan Umum Kota Depok menerapkan komunikasi interpersonal dalam melayani pemustaka, namun pustakawan Perpustakaan Umum Kota Depok masih perlu mengembangkan sikap proaktif dalam melayani pemustaka. Pustakawan dapat memberikan perhatian penuh terhadap pemustaka tanpa memandang latar belakang, usia, ataupun gender. Pustakawan juga dapat melayani pemustaka dengan fleksibel, ekspresif dan terbuka dalam bentuk verbal ataupun non verbal.

This study discusses the interpersonal communication of librarians in the circulation service of Depok Public Library. The purpose of this research is to gain an understanding of the interpersonal communication of librarian in the circulation services department. This research uses qualitative approach with case study method. The results of this study indicate that the librarian of Depok Public Library implements interpersonal communication in serving user, but the librarian of Depok Public Library still need to develop a proactive attitude in serving the user. Librarians can give full attention to the user regardless of background, age, or gender. Librarians can also serve user with flexible, expressive and openness in verbal or non verbal form."
