"Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat pola hubungan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi dampak iklan antirokok terhadap kognisi dan intensi remaja. Berdasarkan Teori Perlindungan Diri (Protection Motivation Theory), diasumsikan bahwa source of information akan mempengaruhi cognitive mediating process, dan interaksi yang terjadi di dalamnya akan berpengaruh terhadap intensi remaja melakukan tindakan yang dianjurkan iklan. Penelitian ini menggunakan path analisys sebagai alat analisis, sedangkan respondennya adalah para pelajar SMUN 103 Jakarta yang terpilih melalui metode Multistage Cluster Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terpaan iklan antirokok tidak mempengaruhi sikap remaja terhadap iklan. Inin terjadi karena remaja telah memiliki pemahaman yang cukup tentang efek pereilaku merokok tanpa harus menyaksikan iklan antirokok. Namun demikian, iklan antirokok terbukti mempengaruhi salah satu komponen kognitif yaitu severity. Artinya iklan tersebut berhasil meneguhkan pemahaman bahawa remaj tetap terlihat keren tanpa merokok. Selain itu, iklan antrokok tidak terbukti berpengaruh terhadap komponen kognitif lain seperti self efficany, response eficacy dan vulnerability. Ketiga komponen ini tidak hanya ditentukan oleh iklan semata tetapi juga dipengaruhi faktor lain di luar iklan."

"Skripsi ini menganalisis usaha anak memperoleh informasi untuk membangun kognisi melalui pemicu cerita Sahabat Baik. Tujuannya adalah mengidentifikasi perkembangan kognisi yang terjadi pada anak umur 51 bulan dan mendeskripsikan cara-cara yang digunakan anak umur 51 bulan untuk mengembangkan kognisi dengan pemicu cerita Sahabat Baik. Anak diceritakan Sahabat Baik sebanyak tiga kali. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh perkembangan kognisi anak dari penceritaan pertama sampai penceritaan ketiga. Anak mengembangkan kognisi tersebut dengan menggunakan kalimat interogatif dan kalimat deklaratif.

Abstract This thesis analyzes the child's efforts to obtain information to build up the cognition through Sahabat Baik story as the trigger medium. The purpose of this research is to identify the development of the cognition that occurs in a child aged 51 months and to describe the ways the child develops the cognition through Sahabat Baik story as its trigger medium. The story of Sahabat Baik is told to the child three times. The result of this study shows the cognition development of the child from the first telling to the third telling. The child develops the cognition by using the interrogative phrase and declarative sentences."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari variabel need for uniqueness terhadap attitude toward product, variabel attitude toward product terhadap perceived quality dan emotional value serta hubungan kedua variabel tersebut terhadap intensi menonton (purchase intention) pada film Indonesia dan film asing di bioskop. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian eksploratif dan deskriptif yang dilakukan satu kali dalam satu periode. Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 290 orang penonton film Indonesia dan asing dengan kunjungan terakhir ke bioskop adalah 6 bulan Model penelitian dengan lima hipotesis diuji menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa need for uniqueness berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap attitude toward product pada film Indonesia dan asing. Attitude toward product juga memiliki pengaruh terhadap perceived quality dan emotional value pada film Indonesia dan film asing. Tetapi ketika perceived quality dan emotional value keduanya memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan pada purchase intention film Indonesia, film asing berbeda dengan hasil perceived quality nya yang tidak signifikan.

The purpose of this study is to identify the impact and relation from some need for uniqueness to attitude toward product, then attitude toward product to perceived quality and emotional value, and both of them toward purchase intention Indonesian and foreign movie in cinema. This research uses exploratory and descriptive design research conducted in one time period (cross sectional design). Respondents of this study are 290 people who watch Indonesian or foreign movie for minimum six months. The five-hypotheses research model in this study are tested with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results finds that almost all variables have a significant and positive relationship for both Indonesian and foreign movie. Only one variable in foreign movie that have unsignificant result that is perceived quality toward purchase intention of foreign movie in cinema."

Complex aerobic exercise was expected having better effect on cognitive function and neuroplasticity compared to simple aerobic exercise in developmental age The aim of this study was to identify the effect of complex aerobic exercise on PSD 95 and cognitive function in mice applied in adolescence age and early adult age This research was an in vivo experimental study There was no significant difference between cognitive function and PSD 95 levels in adolescence age compared to early adult age mice In addition there was no significant difference cognitive function and PSD 95 levels in mice trained with complex aerobic exercise and simple aerobic exercise It was suspected that invariability of complex aerobic exercise could induce boredom Consequently variation of complex aerobic exercise is important in order to increase motivation of the subjects in doing the exercise that could increase their cognitive function."

"ABSTRACTPendahuluan: Penuaan adalah penurunan integritas struktur dan fungsi organisme yang bersifat progresif dan tidak dapat kembali. Pada manusia, hal ini berdampak pada penurunan kognisi dan kekuatan otot, serta peningkatan kerentanan terhadap penyakit degeneratif. Kecepatan penuaan individu berkaitan dengan derajat stres oksidatif yang ditentukan oleh keseimbangan antara radikal bebas dan antioksidan. Ekstrak etanol Centella asiatica (CA) diketahui berefek antioksidan dan antiinflamasi sehingga berpotensi sebagai agen antipenuaan untuk individu tua. Metode: Tikus Sprague-Dawley (SD) tua dibagi ke dalam tiga kelompok, yaitu kontrol negatif (n = 6), kontrol positif (vitamin E 6 IU, n = 7), dan perlakuan (ekstrak etanol CA 300 mg/kg berat badan, n = 8). Sebagai pembanding, terdapat satu kelompok tambahan yang terdiri atas tikus SD muda (n = 6). Kognisi tikus SD sebelum perlakuan ditentukan menggunakan labirin Y. Perlakuan kemudian diberikan selama 28 hari dan kognisi tikus dinilai setiap minggunya. Pada hari ke-29, kekuatan otot tikus diukur dengan uji genggaman dan tikus diterminasi untuk diukur kadar interleukin-6 (IL-6) darah dengan enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Hasil: Peningkatan kekuatan otot (p = 0,014) dan penurunan kadar IL-6 darah (p = 0,001) yang signifikan ditemukan pada kelompok perlakuan dengan CA dibandingkan kontrol negatif, namun tidak ditemukan perbedaan signifikan secara statistik pada kognisi baik antarkelompok setiap minggu maupun antarminggu setiap kelompok (p > 0,05). Kesimpulan: Pemberian ekstrak etanol CA menurunkan kadar IL-6 darah dan meningkatkan kekuatan otot pada tikus SD tua, namun tidak berefek terhadap kognisi. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mempelajari efek CA sebagai agen antipenuaan.

ABSTRACT

Introduction: Aging is progressive and irreversible declines in structural integrity and function of organisms. In human, it leads to cognition and muscle strength impairment, also increased vulnerability to degenerative disorders. Individual aging rate is influenced by degree of oxidative stress, determined by equilibrium between free radicals and antioxidants. Centella asiatica (CA) ethanolic extract has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects so it potentially acts as antiaging agent for aged individuals. Methods: Aged Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were divided into three groups: negative control (n = 6), positive control (vitamin E 6 IU, n = 7), and treatment (CA ethanolic extract 300 mg/kg body weight, n = 8). There is an additional group of young SD rats for comparison (n = 6). Their cognition was measured with Y-maze prior treatment. The treatment was given for 28 days and the cognition level was measured each week. At day 29, their muscle strength was measured with grip test and the rats were terminated to determine their blood interleukin-6 (IL-6) level with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results: Significant muscle strength improvement (p = 0,014) and blood IL-6 level reduction (p = 0,001) were found in group receiving CA treatment compared with negative control, but differences in cognition were not significant, both among groups each week and among weeks each group (p > 0,05). Conclusions: CA ethanolic extract treatment reduces blood IL-6 level and improves muscle strength in aged SD rats, but exerts no effect to cognition. Further studies are required to investigate CA effect as antiaging agent."
