"Penelitian ini membahas tentang kecenderungan generasi muda Dagestan dalam menggunakan media sosial YouTube, Instagram, dan VKontakte. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab responsibilitas ulama terkait pada platform digital yang digunakan oleh generasi muda Dagestan. Metode netnografi digunakan sebagai alat untuk membantu penelitian untuk berkomunikasi melalui platform digital. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan melalui metode netnografi adalah media sosial bukanlah solusi dari permasalahan umat muslim Dagestan. Memang benar bahwa media sosial merupakan tempat berkumpul generasi muda untuk memperoleh informasi seputar Islam tetapi tidak menjamin bahwa semua kegiatan yang dilakukan Muftiyat RD melalui platform digital dapat disetujui oleh pengguna. Oleh karena itu, media sosial hanya alat untuk mempermudah penyebaran bukan untuk pemecahan solusi dari permasalahan umat.

This study discusses the tendency of the younger generation of Dagestan to use social media YouTube, Instagram, and VKontakte. The purpose of this study is to answer the responsibilities of related ulama on the digital platform used by the younger generation of Dagestan. The netnographic method is used as a tool to assist research in communicating through digital platforms. The results of the research obtained through the netnographic method are that social media is not the solution to the problems of Dagestan Muslims. It is true that social media is a gathering place for the younger generation to obtain information about Islam but does not guarantee that all activities carried out by Muftiyat RD through digital platforms can be approved by users. Therefore, social media is only a tool to facilitate the spread, not for solving the problems of the people."

"Penelitian ini membahas upaya-upaya pembentukan citra Rusia sebagai negara yang ramah terhadap penganut agama Islam melalui kanal berita dan media sosial milik Russia Beyond The Headlines (RBTH) Indonesia yang dapat dikategorikan sebagai nation branding. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menemukan bentuk-bentuk upaya pembentukan citra positif Rusia dalam hal menghargai keberadaan agama Islam sebagai agama terbesar kedua setelah Kristen Orthodoks. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode analisis konten, salah satu metode yang berhubungan dengan metode kepustakaan. Melalui metode tersebut ditemukan upaya pembentukan citra positif Rusia sebagai negara ramah muslim dapat terlihat dari artikel-artikel yang disajikan dalam kanal berita daring yang juga sering dibagikan melalui media sosial milik RBTH Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa topik yang paling banyak dibahas adalah perayaan hari besar islam, sikap perlawanan Rusia terhadap terorisme atau ISIS termasuk dalam konflik Suriah, dan program pariwisata halal yang sedang digencarkan oleh negara tersebut.

This research discusses the efforts of image formation of Russia as a muslim-friendly country through news website and social media belonging to Russia Beyond the Headlines (RBTH) Indonesia that can be categorized as a nation branding. The purpose of this study was to find forms of forming a positive image of Russia in terms of respecting the existence of Islam as the second largest religion after Orthodox Christianity. This research is a qualitative research that uses content analysis method, one of the methods related to the library method. Through this method, it found that the effort to establish a positive image of Russia as a muslim-friendly country can be seen from the articles presented in their online news website which are often shared too through RBTH Indonesia's social media. The results of this study prove that the most discussed topics are about the the celebration of Islamic holidays, Russian resistance to terrorism or the ISIS group including in Suriah conflicts and the halal tourism program being intensified by the country"
