Chlorella pyrenoidosa (C. pyrenoidosa) contains Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF), which consists of protein and polysaccharides. CGF is located inside the nucleus of cells and is beneficial to humans as a food supplement, an immunity booster, and an antioxidant.
