ABSTRAK
Penyakit asma bronkial dan/atau rinitis atopik terutama disebabkan oleh Dermatoohagoides pteronyssinus. Antibodi yang berperan pada reaksi alergi ialah IgE dan IgG, yaitu I gG sebagai 'short-term anaphylactic antibody' dan 'precipitating antibody'. Sebaliknya IgG dapat mencegah timbulnya reaksi alergi karena I gG berperan sebagai 'blocking antibody'.
