"ABSTRAKMeningkatnya minat untuk menjadi tenaga kerja imigran ilegal menjadi latar belakang dibuatnya film semi dokumenter Dispereert Niet. Film ini mengangkat kisah keseharian para pekerja imigran ilegal Indonesia dan bagaimana mereka bertahan hidup di Belanda. Jurnal ini membahas tentang daya tarik Belanda sehingga menjadi negara yang dituju para pekerja imigran Indonesia menurut film semi dokumenter Dispereert Niet. Selain itu, beberapa kompromi yang dilakukan para pekerja imigran Indonesia untuk bertahan hidup di Belanda juga menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dari analisis ini menunjukkan satu-satunya daya tarik Belanda bagi para pekerja imigran ilegal Indonesia adalah penghasilan yang mereka dapatkan bisa jauh lebih baik di Belanda tanpa memerlukan banyak syarat serta pengalaman kerja yang seimbang. Keadaan ini juga diikuti dengan besarnya kemauan para pekerja imigran Indonesia untuk memperbaiki nasib dan taraf hidup mereka. Beberapa kompromi yang dilakukan mereka untuk bertahan hidup di Belanda antara lain, rela tinggal di tempat yang tidak layak, menerima upah yang tidak sesuai dengan pekerjaannya, hidup dalam kekhawatiran karena takut ditangkap polisi, serta rela jauh dari keluarga di tanah air. Mereka tidak dapat menolak atau mengubah keadaan tersebut karena status mereka yang ilegal.

ABSTRACTThe growing interest in becoming an illegal immigrant worker became the background of the semi documentary film Dispereert Niet. The film is highlighting the daily story of Illegal Indonesian immigrant workers and how they survive in the Netherlands. This journal discusses the attractiveness of the Netherlands so that it becomes the destination country of Indonesian immigrant workers according to the semi documentary film Dispereert Niet. In addition, there are some compromises by Indonesian immigrant workers to survive in the Netherlands are also the focus of this research. The results of this analysis show that the only appeal of the Netherlands to illegal Indonesian immigrant workers is the ease of obtaining higher incomes in the Netherlands without the need for a diploma and a balanced work experience. This situation is also followed by the large willingness of Indonesian immigrant workers to improve their fate and standard of living. Some of the compromises they have made to survive in the Netherlands are willing to live in unfit places, receive unfit wages, live in anxiety for fear of being caught by the police, and willingly away from family in the country. They cannot refuse or change the circumstances because of their illegal status"

"Illegal Immigrant is a common problem between Indonesia and Australia. However, in handling the problem in sea border, Indonesia take a humanitarian approach while Australia take security approach through Operation Sovereign Border that had resulted to diplomatic confrontation. Therefore, this study focus on analyzing synergy of the two countries in dealing with illegal immigrant in sea border area. This study uses national security, migration as security issue to analyze national interest. Cooperative security, defense diplomacy, synergy concept and naval diplomacy theory to analyze defense diplomacy implementation as a whole. The approach of this study is qualitative method through data collection processed by software NVivo which are beneficial for coding, triangulation, and finding relations among interviewees while Soft System Methodology used as data analysis technique consist of seven steps that are very comprehensive in explaining the whole study. The results of this study showed the two countries have not synergized yet. Indonesia and Australia have common non-traditional security interests and different traditional security interests because Indonesia has a territorial importance base opposed to Australian immigration interests. Indonesia and Australia have been doing bilateral defense diplomacy through 2 + 2 Dialogue, Defense Ministers Meeting and Navy to Navy Talk but have not produced a concrete solution, therefore sharing responsibility and Confidence Building Measures have not been achieved. Thus, naval diplomacy is required to support defense diplomacy through coordinated patrols that Standard Operating Procedure and Standard Exercise Procedure must be formulated in order to achieve interests of both countries."

"Sekuritisasi kerap kali menjadi faktor penentu bagi aktor politik untuk memformulasikan kebijakan yang bertujuan untuk mempertahankan keamanan negaranya. Atas dasar hal tersebut skripsi ini mengangkat tema kebijakan imigrasi dan kaitannya dengan sekuritisasi dan geopolitik, yang mengambil studi kasus Kebijakan Imigrasi Zero-Tolerance pada masa pemerintahan Donald Trump di tahun 2018. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori sekuritisasi dan teori geopolitk perbatasan. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah tata letak geografis antara Amerika dan Meksiko membangkitkan sekuritisasi pemerintah Amerika untuk mempertahankan wilayahnya dari imigran ilegal yang terus berdatangan dari Meksiko. Sekuritisasi ini menjadi dorongan bagi pemerintah untuk menghasilkan sebuah kebijakan imigrasi yang mengatur hal tersebut demi mempertahankan keamanan dan stabilitas Amerika. Sehingga dapat dilihat bahwa sekuritisasi dan tata letak geografis sebuah negara terhadap negara lainnya menjadi faktor pendorong dari sebuah formulasi kebijakan.

Securitization is often a determining factor for political actors to formulate policies aimed at maintaining the security of their country. On this basis, this thesis raises the theme of immigration policy and its relation to securitization and geopolitics, which takes the case study of Zero-Tolerance Immigration Policy during Donald Trump's reign in 2018. The theory used in this research is the theory of securitization and border geopolitical theory. The findings of this study are that the geographical layout between America and Mexico evoked securitization of the American government to defend its territory from illegal immigrants who continued to arrive from Mexico. This securitization is an encouragement for the government to produce an immigration policy that regulates this in order to maintain American security and stability. So, it can be seen that the securitization and geographical layout of a country against other countries are the driving factors of a policy formulation."

"Sebuah film berjudul "Joy" yang disutradarai oleh Sudabeh Mortezai merupakan film drama Austria yang menceritakan isu prostitusi oleh imigran gelap dari Nigeria dengan menampilkan ruang sosial kota Wina, Austria. Kajian ini menggunakan konsep ruang sosial, arena, modal, dan habitus dari Pierre Bourdieu serta keberadaan uang sebagai budaya objektif yang mendominasi masyarakat perkotaan oleh Georg Simmel. Analisis tersebut membahas bagaimana ruang sosial kota Wina pada abad ke-20 ditampilkan melalui praktek prostitusi oleh para imigran gelap. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan praktik prostitusi yang terjadi di Kota Wina didalangi oleh beberapa kelompok. Kelompok-kelompok ini memegang peran utama sebagai agen yang posisinya didukung oleh modal dan peranannya yang sesuai dengan dinamika yang terjadi dalam ruang sosial.

A film titled "Joy" directed by Sudabeh Mortezai is an Austrian drama film that tells the issue of prostitution by illegal immigrants from Nigeria by showing the social space of the city of Vienna, Austria. This study uses the concepts of social space, arena, capital, and habitus from Pierre Bourdieu and the existence of money as an objective culture that dominates urban society by Georg Simmel. The analysis discusses how the social space of the city of Vienna in the 20th century was presented through the practice of prostitution by illegal immigrants. This study concludes that the practice of prostitution that occurs in the City of Vienna is masterminded by several groups. These groups play the main role as agents whose positions are supported by capital and their roles are in accordance with the dynamics that occur in the social space."
