"Makalah ini membahas gaya arsitektur pada bagian eksterior dari Gereja Ijen di Malang yang bercirikan Neo-Gotik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengetahui bagaimana gaya Neo-Gotik diterapkan pada bangunan tersebut. Gaya Neo-Gotik yang ada pada bangunan ini akan dilihat dan dianalisis dari bentuk luar gereja serta ornamen-ornamen yang terdapat pada luar gereja Ijen seperti, pada bagian fasade Gereja, bagian menara,atap, pintu, serta jendela. Dilihat sekilas dari bentuk fasade gereja terlihat simetris dan diapit dua menara kembar. Hal itu sangat mendukung ciri dari gaya Neo-Gotik.

This paper discusses an architecture style on the exterior of Ijen chuch in Malang, West Java which features a Neo Gothic style. This research is using a qualitative descriptive method in which purpose is to evaluate how a Neo Gothic style was applied in the architecture of the building. The Neo Gothic style will be seen and analyzed from the exterior and ornaments like the church 39 s facade, tower, roof, doors, and windows. From what can be seen by seeing the church 39 s facade shape, it has a symmetrical form and was wedged in between twin towers. It can be concluded that it shows a Neo Gothic style."
