"Pertumbuhan industri pameran semakin meningkat sehingga persaingan pada industri ini semakin ketat. Kondisi ini mengharuskan penyelenggara event pameran merancang strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang tepat untuk memenangkan persaingan. PT Wahyu Promo Citra selaku penyelenggara pameran Agro & Food Expo dapat mempertahankan pamerannya selama sepuluh tahun. Fenomena ini mendorong dilakukannya penelitian dengan topik Analisis Hubungan Fungsi-Fungsi Komunikasi Pemasaran Terhadap Loyalitas Peserta Pada Event Pameran (Studi Kasus Pameran Agro & Food Expo). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian temyata kedua variabel tersebut tidak saling mempengaruhi secara signifikan. Namun perusahaan perlu mengkaji kembali fungsi-fungsi pemasaran yang telah diterapkan demi tercapainya tujuan pemasaran yang efektif dan efisien.

The development of exhibition industry has grown rapidly so that the competition is getting tighter. This condition has urged the event organizer to create a better marketing communication strategy to win the competition. PT Wahyu Promo Citra as the organizer of Agro & Food Expo which already held the show for 10 consecutive times in 10 years. This phenomenon has urges the writer to do a research with topic” analysis of the functions of marketing communication relations toward the exhibitors loyalty on exhibition (study case is Agro & Food Expo exhibition)”. The research is indicating that correlation between independent and dependent variable has not significant. However a company should reconsider the application of marketing functions to reach out marketing objective effectively and efficiently."

"With recent advances in the basic analysis of speaker recognition, the technology can be expanded to a new system of audio event detection. The analysis of audio events is important in a variety of applications including audio surveillance, sports highlights and hearing disability support. Past project has given many challenges regarding to the detection and recognition speaker. This report presents an audio event detection method by using the Maximum Likelihood techniques. The algorithm uses Gauss/an Mixture Model (GMM) to provide a model of several types of sound. The Maximum Likelihood methods will give an estimation of all the parameters of the Gauss/an Mixture Model that can be used to identify what event(s) happen in audio signals. The focus of this work is on the ability of modelling different types of audio files and identifying what events occur regarding to the models. A complete experimental evaluation of the Gauss/an Mixture Model is conducted on a 150 speaker, 3 different types of sound, with each type of sound consisting of 10 audio files. The approach of Expectation Maximisation algorithm is applied in order to improve the performance of the classifier."

"Special Event merupakan salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan dalam lingkup kerja Public Relations. Salah satu Special Event dalam hal kompetisi pencarian bakat yang cukup lama ada di Indonesia adalah MTV VJ HUNT. Seiring dengan semakin banyak ajang kompetisi bermunculan, dan manajemen MTV VJ HUNT sempat rehat selama beberapa tahun, membuat popularitas ajang ini menjadi berkurang. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari minat untuk mengikuti ajang ini dari tahun ke tahun semakin sedikit. Penelitian menggunakan paradigma positivis pendekatan kuantitatif, dan bersifat eksplanatif. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan adanya pengaruh yang tidak signifikan antara penilaian khalayak terhadap Special Event MTV VJ HUNT 2011. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji pengaruh penilaian khalayak terhadap Special Event MTV VJ HUNT pada bulan Juni 2011 terhadap minat untuk mengikuti kompetisi MTV VJ HUNT 2011.

Special Event is a tool that Public Relations can use to reach their goals. One of the Special Event that usually got a lot of attentions are contest and competitions. One of the oldest contest and competitions in Indonesia is MTV VJ HUNT. Nowadays because there are a lot of contest and competitions and MTV VJ HUNT’s management got some rest for some years, this event is no longer popular as it used to be. You can see it clearly from the people who have an interest to participating in MTV VJ HUNT from year to year is getting smaller in numbers. This research used positivist, qualitative, and explanative paradigm. It is found on this research that there are non significance between public opinion about Special Event MTV VJ HUNT 2011. The aim of this study is to find out the effect of influence between public opinion about special event MTV VJ HUNT on June 2011 with the interest to participating in “MTV VJ HUNT 2011” competition."
