"Under the prevailing law in Indonesia no. 32/1997 about commodity futures exchange, the government had aplied the rules of risk management by market mechanism scheme. These rules had given a chance to futures broker company to serve people in futures investment. To be able to give such service, the company must have employees that can afford a maximal working effectiveness.
The purpose of this research's was to analysis upon employee's perception over the working effectiveness which have been doing in daily activity in one organization. There are seven major indicators in this measurement which are presented by George D. Halsey, The indicators are list as follow: working quantity, working quality, initiative, working attitude, effort, cooperation, and originality which are performed by employees in the company.
This research's use quantitative approach with descriptive method. The numbers of population are 40 respondents and total sampling used was sampling technique. In order to get some information, researcher has to distribute the questioner to all respondents at PT Realtime Forex Futures (RTFF), the research's period was during May 2008. Researcher did an interview to find out about the working effectiveness perception from respondents. To analyze the data the researcher used descriptive frequencies table, which use computer program SPSS version 16,0 for windows to process the data.
Based on the result of research, it has found that majority of respondents have a good perception about the working effectiveness at PT Realtime Forex Futures. The rate of satisfaction can be proven by a high respond (weighted score between 155 until 168) from respondents over the seven indicators which generally gave positive perception upon the working effectiveness in the company. To increase the working effectiveness, for the future employees need to be given the correct and appropriate socialization (regarding target and supervision), in order to know and understand what performance that is expected by the company."

"Tesis ini membahas pengaruh persepsi anggota yang bertugas di bidang operasional Polres Metro Jakarta Timur tentang pengawasan dan pengembangan karir terhadap efektifitas kerja anggota tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif dan dilengkapi dengan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan metode wawancara tak berstruktur.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh persepsi tentang pengawasan dan pengembangan karir terhadap efektifitas kerja anggota, sekalipun pada beberapa fungsi kategori pengaruh tersebut sangat rendah bahkan dapat dikatakan hampir tidak ada.
Penelitian ini menyarankan agar pengawasan dan pemeriksaan yang dilaksanakan memiliki standar yang baku, Personil Tim Wasrik seyogyanya relatif tetap (tidak berganti-ganti) dan personil Polri yang memiliki keahlian di bidangnya, Wasrik seyogyanya bukanlah sekedar rutinitas organisasi dari satuan atas ke satuan bawah, Pengembangan karir sebaiknya dilakukan dengan rencana yang baku dan tidak dikotori dengan suap guna mewujudkan organisasi yang bersih dari unsur korupsi, kolusi dan nepotisme.

This tesis discusses the influence of perception of members who served in operational areas of The Metro Police Station Jakarta Timur on supervision and career development of effective work such member. This research is descriptive quantitative research design and equipped with qualitative research using unstructured interviews.
Results showed that the influence perception about supervision and career development of effective work of members, although in some categories of function are very low influence can even be said almost nothing.
This research suggested that the supervision and inspection standards that have implemented the standard. The supervision and inspection Team personnal should be relatively fixed (not changing), The supervision and inspection Team personnal are national Police personnal who have expertise in their field, the implementation should not just routine supervision and inspection of organization of top unit to bottom unit. Career development should be done with standard plan and not littered with bribes in order to realize a clean organization of elemen of corruption, collution and nepotism.

"Departemen Radioterapi RS. Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo merupakan salah satu pelayanan medik yang ada di RS. Dr. Cipto Mangunkusmo yang memberikan pengobatan terapi radiasi terhadap kasus keganasan (Kankcr). Tujuan dari pcnclitian ini agar intervensi atau rencana strategi yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan efektiiitas kelja akan sesuai dengan kebutuhan di Departemen Radioterapi RSCM.
Penelilian ini dilakukan selama periods 30 Januari 2007 sampai 30 Juni 2007 terhadap 50 responden dengan menggunakan angket. Variabel yang diukur dalarn penelitian ini adalah lingkungan kerja, kcpuasan pegawai, kinemja dan efektiiitas kerja pegawai. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode analisis jalur atau disebut juga dengan Parh Analysis (PA). Metode ini digunakan untuk melihat pola hubungan antar variabel baik variabel penyebab (variabel eksogen) terhadap vaxiabel akibat (vatiabel endogen) dengan anaiisis data korelasi sederhana, berganda dan regresi.
Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh langsung zuaupun tidak langsung antara variabcl Iingkungan kexja, kepuasan dan kinexja pegawai terhadap efektititas kelja pegawai di Departemen Radioterapi RSCM dengan memiliki kontribusi 74,2%. Begitupula hubnngan antar masing-masing variabel yang memiliki nilai pengaruh yang signiiikan.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas, maka disarankan sebagai berikut: 1) Mempertahankan pengelolaan lingkungan kerja, kepuasan dan kinerja pegawai yang selama ini telah tertata dengan baik, dan selalu memperhitungkan aspek keselamatan radiasi bagi pasien, petugas maupun lingkungan sekitar. 2) Seixing dengan persaingan global, maka Dcpartemen Radioterapi RSCM harus tems meningkatkan pengcmbangan kuaiitas dari SDM yang merupakan modal utama dan subjek penggerak organisasi. 3) Perlu dilakukannya analisa beban kcrja berdasarkan jumlah pegawai di lingkungan Departemen Radioterapi RSCM

The Radiotherapy Depanment of Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital is an institution which gives radiation treatment to cancer patients. The aim of this research was to find out the right intervention to increase the work effectivity in Radiotherapy Department.
Between January, 30 2007 and June, 30 2007, questionnaires were randomly given to 50 employees of the department. Variables measmed in the study were working environment, job satisfaction and performance to working etfectivity. Path Analysis method was done to see the correlation between exogenous and endogenous variables using simple, double correlation, and regression analysis.
We found direct and indirect effect between the variables working environment, job satisfaction, performance, and the working effectivity of employees with contribution 74,2%.
The results of this study suggest that the working effectivity of the employees is influenced by the working environment, job satisfaction and performance. Thus, we suggest that: 1) The Radiotherapy department should keep maintaining the work environment, job satisfaction and performance, with regards to the safety aspects of the patients, employees and environment. 2) The Radiotherapy Department should keep the quality of its services and increase the perfonnance of its facilities. It is essential that The Departement of Radiotherapy develop a program for developing its human resources as an important asset for better services. 3) Workload indicator of staffing need."

"Penelitian ini dirancang untuk membuktikan bahwa awak kokpit penerbangan komersial mempunyai mental model yang mempengaruhi efektivitas kerja tim. Sampel penelitian adalah awak kokpit (pilot) yang masih terlibat di kegiatan tim selama 1 tahun terakhir (N=208 pilot). Pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS PASW STATISTIC 18 dan LISREL 8.72 dengan metode pengujian model fit dan signifikansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mental model awak kokpit dibangun oleh indikator-indikator trust, openness, realization dan interdependence (TORI) dan tidak dipengaruhi oleh usia awak kokpit. Dengan kata lain, semua awak kokpit mempunyai mental model TORI. Mental model tersebut mempengaruhi efektivitas tim kerja awak kokpit. Variabel ketiga yaitu faktor kepemimpinan dan faktor pembelajaran bersama-sama dengan mental model memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap efektivitas tim kerja awak kokpit. Khusus bagi awak kokpit yang berpengalaman kerja lebih dari 11 (sebelas) tahun terbukti faktor kepemipinan (L=Leadership) menjadi bagian dari indikator mental model (TORIL).

This study is designed to prove that commercial airline cockpit crew have mental models which influence the effectiveness of teamwork. Samples of the research were cockpit crew (pilots) who are still involved in team activities during the last 1 year (N = 208 pilot). SPSS PASW Statistics 18 and LISREL 8.72 was used for data processing with model fit and significance testing methods. The result shows that the mental models of the cockpit crew was built on the indicators of trust, openness, realization and interdependence (TORI) and was not influenced by the age of the cockpit crew. In other words, all cockpit crew showed adoption of the TORI mental model. These mental models affect the effectiveness of cockpit crew’s work teams. The third variable which is the leadership and learning factors together with the mental model provided a positive influence of the effectiveness of the cockpit crew’s work teams. In addition, especially for seasoned cockpit crew with more than 11 (eleven) years of work experience, it has been proven that the leadership factor (L = Leadership) is a part of the (TORI-L) mental model indicator."
