"ABSTRAKJurnal ini membahas kritik sosial masyarakat Korea pada masa industrialisasi tahun 1970-an dalam puisi Hwasal karya Go-Eun. Dalam puisi ini, Go-Eun mengajak masyarakat Korea untuk ikut berjuang melawan pemerintahan diktator Park Chung-Hee. Sasaran utama pembaca puisi tersebut adalah masyarakat Korea. Jurnal ini juga menganalisis tentang bagaimana Go-Eun menggunakan kata-kata imperatif dan persuasif untuk mengajak, mendorong dan memberikan semangat kepada masyarakat Korea pada masa itu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kritik-kritik sosial masyarakat Korea pada masa industrialisasi tahun 1970-an. Penelitian dilakukan melalui pendekatan stilistika dan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode tinjauan kepustakaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat kritik untuk kinerja pemerintahan Park Chung-Hee yang tidak merata dan tidak adil untuk masyarakat golongan menengah dan kecil, dan kritik untuk masyarakat Korea yang seakan-akan tidak mau berusaha untuk memperjuangkan kebebasan dan hak-haknya.

ABSTRACTThis journal discusses the social criticism of Korean society during the industrialization in 1970s on the poetry entitled Hwasal by Go-Eun. In this poetry, Go-Eun invited Korean society to join the fight against the Government of dictator Park Chung-Hee, the main target readers of the poetry is the Korean society. This journal also analyzes about how Go-Eun using imperative and persuasive words to invite, encourage and emboldened to the Korean society at that time. The purpose of this research is to know the social criticism of Korean society during the industrialization in 1970s. Research conducted through a descriptive qualitative and stylistic approach method in library review. The result of the research is there is a criticism to the performance of the Government of Park Chung-Hee which was unfair to the middle and small communities, and the criticism for the Korean society that seems unwilling to attempt to fight for freedom and their rights.;"
