" Iklan merupakan bentuk komunikasi persuasif yang dirancang untuk memberikan pengaruh pada konsumen dalam memutuskan penggunaan barang dan jasa tertentu. Pengaruh ini dapat dilakukan melalui surnber pesan dalam iklan, yaitu bintang iklan (endorser) dan perusahaan pengiklan. Salah satu hal yang berperan penting dalam pengaruh ini ialah kredibilitas kedua sumber pesan tersebut, yaitu kredibilitas endorser (EC) dan kredibilitas perusahaan (CC).
