"Latar belakang : Kanker merupakan suatu penyakit yang ditandai dengan pertumbuhan sel yang tidak terkendali dan menyebar ke bagian lain dari tubuh atau menyebar ke organ lain. Pemberian kemoterapi merupakan salah satu modalitas dalam pengobatan kanker. Pasien anak dengan kanker yang menjalani kemoterapi membutuhkan perawatan yang lama dan penanganan secara khusus karena obat kemoteapi merupakan obat yang berisiko tinggi. Karya ilmiah spesialis ini bertujuan memberikan gambaran asuhan keperawatan berdasarkan teori kenyamanan Kolcaba pada anak penderita kanker yang menjalani kemoterapi. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Kebutuhan 5 kasus kelolaan ini dikaji berdasarkan pendekatan kenyamanan Kolcaba. Pengkajian kenyamanan didasarkan pada tipe relief,ease dan transedence yang meliputi aspek fisik, psikospiritual, sosiokultural dan lingkungan. Intervensi kenyamanan yang diberikan dalam bentuk kenyamanan standar, couching dan comfort food the soul. Evaluasi tindakan keperawatan dilakukan berdasarkan nursing outcome sesuai dengan diagnosis keperawatan yang telah ditegakkan. Hasil studi aplikasi teori kenyamanan Kolcaba pada anak kanker yang menjalani kemoterapi berdampak pada kenyamanan pasien dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup atas pelayanan yang diberikan.

Background : Cancer is a disease characterized by uncontrolled cell growth and spread to other parts of the body or to other organs. Chemotherapy is one of the modalities in cancer treatment. Pediatric patients with cancer undergoing chemotherapy require long-term care and special treatment because chemotherapy drugs are high-risk drugs. This specialist scientific work aims to provide an overview of nursing care based on Kolcaba's comfort theory for children with cancer undergoing chemotherapy. The method used is a case study. In 5 cases of managed patients. The assessment of comfort is based on the types of relief, ease and transcendence which include physical, psychospiritual, sociocultural and environmental aspects. The nursing problem related to the administration of chemotherapy is the risk of vascular trauma, nurses have an important role in this problem. Comfort interventions were provided in the form of standard comfort, couching and comfort food the soul. Evaluation of nursing actions is carried out based on nursing outcomes in accordance with the nursing diagnoses that have been established. The results of the study of the application of Kolcaba's comfort theory to children with cancer undergoing chemotherapy have an impact on patient comfort and improve the quality of life for the services provided."

Sports medicine has played a role in athlete safety, strengthening physical ability, improving sports performance, and players' life extension. Recently, sports medicine is adding some roles to provide lifetime healthcare for athletes including children in the development stage, active players and retired players. Concussion in sport, the effects of exercising in childhood on bone and joint health, and female athlete triad are described in this review paper. Some proposals for protection of the athletes' lifetime healthcare are also discussed."
