"ABSTRAKPerkembangan jurnalisme dari segi teori dan teknik telah memunculkan beberapa hal baru. Salah satunya adalah Podcast yang merupakan salah satu jenis media baru di era digital. Kegiatan podcasting sudah menjadi tren di berbagai negara. Hal serupa juga mulai terlihat di Indonesia Box2box Indonesia, sebuah podcast yang membahas sepak bola eropa bisa menjadi contohnya. Konten audio podcast masih bisa dilihat sebagai karya jurnalisme karena memenuhi beberapa prinsip jurnalisme dan nilai berita, meski dalam beberapa kesempatan ada prinsip jurnalisme yang tidak terpenuhi. Selanjutnya, podcast dapat menjadi tren karena mampu mengembangkan komunitas audiensnya lewat media sosial dan konten podcast itu sendiri yang telah menjadi pengalaman bersama.

ABSTRACTThe development of journalism in terms of theory and technique has emerged several new things. One of them is podcast which is one of the new types of media in the digital era. Podcasting have become a trend in various countries. Something similar is also beginning to be seen in Indonesia. Box2box Indonesia, a podcast that discusses European football can be an example. The content of podcast still be seen as a work of journalism because its fulfills several principles of journalism and news value, although on several occasions there are principles of journalism that are not fulfilled. Furthermore, podcasts can become a trend because the ability to develop community of audiences through social media and the content of podcast itself which has become a shared experience."
