It can be said that the modern aquaculture industry nowadays depends on the application of molecular biotechnology with supports from better aquaculture system management for product optimization."

"Cultured mud crabs (Scylla spp.) are commonly fed with 'trash' fosh has lead to a need to develop cost-effective and environmentally friendly formulated diets. This study was conducted to determine quality of selected feed ingredients as protein soures in mud crab diets based on their nutrient composition and digestibility coefficients for ADMD ranged from 82.46% to 89.20%. Animal-based feedstuffs such as shrimp head, tiny shrimp and squid liver meal had higher ADMD values than fish meal."

"Tambak di Blanakan, Subang merupakan tambak tradisional yang mengandalkan pakan alami sebagai pakan biota. Oleh karena itu keberadaan serasah mangrove sangat penting bagi tambak di Blanakan, karena dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan kesuburan tambak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menghitung produktivitas dan kandungan nutrien (N dan P) pada serasah Avicennia sp. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April sampai Mei dan Agustus 2018 dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui produktivitas dan kandungan nutrien (N dan P) pada serasah Avicennia sp. serta hubungan antara kedua faktor tersebut dan parameter lingkungan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di pertambakan Blanakan, Subang, Jawa Barat pada siang hari dan menggunakan littertrap untuk menampung serasah pada masing - masing tambak.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah produksi serasah yang diproduksi oleh Tambak 1 yaitu 2,15 gr/m2/hari, Tambak 2 yaitu 2 gr/m2/hari dan Tambak 3 yaitu 1,7 gr/m2/hari. Berdasarkan analisis korelasi menunjukkan terdapat korelasi yang lemah antara variabel independen (produktivitas serasah mangrove dan parameter lingkungan) dengan kandungan N dan P. Namun dilain sisi, terdapat korelasi yang kuat antara curah hujan dengan kandungan P.
Blanakan ponds are traditional brackish water ponds that rely on natural feed for biota. Therefore the existence of mangrove leaflitter is very important for Blanakan ponds, because it can increase productivity and fertility of ponds. The purpose of this research is to calculate productivity and nutrient content (N and P) of Avicennia sp. leaflitter. This research was conducted in April, Mei and August 2018 and aimed to determine the relationship between the productivity of mangrove and nutrient content (N and P) of Avicennia sp. litterfall. Samples were collected in Blanakan, Subang, West Java, using leaflitter trap in each ponds.The result showed that the amount of leaflitter produced by Pond 1 was 2,15 gr/m2/day, Pond 2 was 2 gr/m2/day and Pond 3 was 1,7 gr/m2/day. Based on correlation analysis it showed that there were weak correlation between independent variabel (the production of mangrove and environment parameter) and nutrien (N and P) content. However there was strong correlation between rainfall and nutrien (P) content."

"Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Bulan Juni 2015 di Desa Blanakan, Kabupaten Subang, Jawa Barat dan di Laboratorium Kimia, Universitas Indonesia dan bertujuan : Untuk mengetahui kandungan Kadmium (Cd) dan Kromium (Cr) pada Ikan Bandeng dan Sedimen di Pertambakan Bermangrove. Sampel berupa ikan bandeng dan sedimen diambil dari pertambakan bermangrove yang dibagi ke dalam enam stasiun. Masing-masing stasiun diteliti kandungan logam berat Kadmium (Cd) dan Kromium (Cr) di ikan bandeng dan Sedimen. Kandungan logam Cr yang ditemukan di ikan bandeng memenuhi kisaran 0.03-0.029 mg/kg. Ambang batas logam Cr di biota menurut Keputusaan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup tahun 2001 sebesar 0.005 ppm, artinya seluruh stasiun telah melampaui ambang batas. Untuk kandungan logam Cr di sedimen di kisaran 0.021-0.636 mg/kg. ambang batas logam Cr di sedimen menurut Swedish Enviromental Protection Agency (<40 mg/kg), mengacu pada standard tersebut maka logam Cr di sedimen belum melebihi ambang batas.
The research was conducted in June 2015 Blanakan Village, Subang, West Java and Chemistry Laboratory, University of Indonesia and aims: To determine the content of Cadmium (Cd) and Chromium (Cr) in the Milkfish and Sediment in aquaculture. Samples of fish and sediment taken from aquaculture divided into six stations. Each station studied heavy metal content of Cadmium (Cd) and Chromium (Cr) in fish and sediments. Cr metal content found in fish meet the range of 0.03-0.029 mg/kg. Cr threshold in biota desperation by the Minister of Environment in 2001 amounted to 0.005 ppm, meaning the whole station has exceeded the threshold. Cr for the metal content in the sediment in the range of 0.021-0.636 mg/kg. Threshold of Cr in sediments according to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (< 40 mg/kg), refers to these standards, the Cr in sediments has not exceeded the threshold."
