Abstrak :
Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi yang dilakukan oleh anak muda dengan aliran keislaman yang berbeda dengan aliran keislaman keluarganya. Strategi ini diperlukan karena kebutuhan secara finansial berupa ekonomi dan tempat tinggalnya masih bergantung dengan keluarganya. Argumen yang dilakukan oleh anak muda dalam keluarganya dengan dua cara, yakni adaptif dan frontal. Strategi adaptif adalah menyesuaikan dengan aliran keislamannya dengan aliran keislaman keluarganya. Sedangkan yang dimaksud strategi frontal adalah menentang aliran keislaman keluarganya yang berbeda. Dalam menutupi kekosongan ruang studi-studi sebelumnya, peneliti memiliki argumen bahwa kedua strategi dapat digunakan tergantung pada tipe keluarga (inti dan luas) yang dimana di dalam keluarga terdapat orientasi keislaman (konservatif dan moderat). Dalam orientasi keislaman moderat maupun konservatif anak muda akan tetap melakukan strategi adaptif dalam keluarga luas dan strategi frontal dalam keluarga inti. Hal ini dikarenakan pada tipe keluarga menggambarkan intensitas hubungan antara anak muda dengan keluarganya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik studi literatur, wawancara dan observasi. ......This study aims to analyze youth strategy within family with different Islamic beliefs. This strategy is needed to support their economic dependece such as adequate financial and housing. According to their statement there are two types of strategies, adaptive and frontal. Adaptive strategy cosider adjusting to their family's beliefs while frontal strategies challenge their differences. In attempt to enrich previous studies, the author argues that both strategies can be used depending on the types of family (nuclear and extended) and their islamic orientation (conservative and moderate). The study found that in both orientation, youth are using adaptive strategy with their extended family and frontal strategy with the nuclear family which illustrate the intensity between the youth and their family. This research uses qualitative approach using literature study, interview, and observation method.
