"[ABSTRAK Artikel ini membahas tentang upaya penanggulangan tindak rasisme yang terjadi dalam sepak bola Rusia tahun 2011-2014. Setelah FIFA secara resmi menunjuk Rusia sebagai tuan rumah piala dunia 2018, Rusia segera mempersiapkan segala hal yang bertujuan untuk kesuksesan acara piala dunia, salah satunya adalah pemberantasan rasisme. Artikel ini juga akan memaparkan kasus-kasus rasisme dalam sepak bola Rusia dan upaya-upaya penanggulangan atas tindak rasisme. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitattif dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisa deskriptif-analisis. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa telah ada upaya untuk pemberantasan kasus rasisme dalam sepak bola Rusia di antaranya adalah dengan pembaharuan sanksi, pemanfaatan media masa, dan partisipasi masyarakat.ABSTRACT This article aims to discuss preventive efforts toward racism Russian football from 2011-2014. Shortly after FIFA, officially, appointed Russia to host the 2018 World Cup, Russia has been trying to eliminate racism cases, which is aimed to the success of the World Cup. This article also discusses about the racism cases and alson the efforts toward the elimination of racism in Russian football. This article is written based on qualitative method by using descriptive-analysis approach.
