"PURPOSE: A triplet regimen of docetaxel, cisplatin, and S-1(DCS) is highly effective against metastatic gastric cancer. We performed this study to clarify the safety and efficacy of surgical resection in patients with initially unresectable gastric cancer, after down-staging or disease control was achieved by DCS chemotherapy.
METHODS: The subjects of this retrospective study were 31 consecutive patients with initially unresectable gastric cancer, who underwent surgical resection between October, 2006 and December, 2012, after downstaging or disease control was achieved by DCS chemotherapy. We evaluated the clinicopathological factors and clinical outcomes and assessed radiographic response based on the RECIST criteria, not by central review.
RESULT: Before DCS chemotherapy, 18 patients had extraregional lymph node metastasis, 5 had liver metastasis, 8 had macroscopic peritoneal metastasis, and 8 had pancreatic head invasion. Twenty-three (74.2%) of the 31 patients underwent R0 resection. Postoperative morbidity and mortality rates were 16.1 and 0%. During chemotherapy, grade 3/4 toxicities included neutropenia (54.8%), leukopenia (32.3%), and anemia (16.1%). Median progression-free survival and median overall survival (OS) were 42.1 and 56.1 months, respectively. These results were similar for all patients, except those with locally advanced disease alone. In the multivariate analysis for OS, ypN remained an independent negative prognostic factor (pā€‰=ā€‰0.018).
CONCLUSION: Surgical resection after DCS chemotherapy for initially unresectable gastric cancer was safe and provided a reasonable R0 resection rate and good midterm survival."

"Unit 1 PLTP (Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Panas Bumi) Gunung Salak mempunyai terget kinerja operasi tinggi. Untuk mencapai target kinerja tersebut dibutuhkan peralatan yang andal. Keandalan sangat ditentukan oleh pola operasi, pemeliharaan dan life time peralatan. Unit 1 PLTP Gunung Salak beroperasi sejak tahun 1994. Beberapa peralatan sudah menunjukkan penurunan performa yang disebabkan oleh life time peralatan. Hal ini diindikasikan oleh spare part yang sudah dinyatakan obsolete oleh manufacturing.
Salah satu peralatan Unit 1 PLTP Gunung Salak yang sudah dinyatakan komponennya obsolete adalah DCS (Distribution Control System). Tipe DCS yang ada saat ini adalah Network90 (N90) yang terpasang pada tahun 1994. Selama ini PLTP Gunung Salak mendapatkan dukungan spare part dari manufacturer, namun pihak manufacture telah menyatakan spare part DCS yang terpasang pada Unit 1 PLTP Gunung Salak sudah obsolete (Assessment & DCS Life Cycle Support oleh ABB tanggal 07 Agustus 2009).
Komponen yang didapatkan selama ini adalah komponen yang didapat dari pasar bebas dan keaslian komponen ini sangat diragukan. Jika kondisi ini tidak diantisipasi, dipastikan suatu saat komponen ini akan menghilang dari pasaran. Hal ini dapat mengakibatkan terhentinya operasi Unit 1 PLTP Gunung Salak untuk jangka waktu yang lama.

Unit 1 Salak Mount Geothermal Power Plant has the high target operating performance, to achieve the performance of the targets needed reliable equipment. Reliability is determined by the pattern of operation, maintanance, life time of the equipment. Unit 1 Salak Mount Geothermal Power Plants in operation since 1994. Several devices have shown a decrease in performance due to the life time of the eqipmepment. This is indicated by the parts that have been declared absolute by manufacturing.
One of the tools Unit 1 Salak Mount Geothermal Power Plant whic has been declared obsolete component is DCS. Type of current DCS is Network 90 (N90) installed in 1994. During the Salak Mount Geothermal Power Plant spare parts support from the manufacture, but the parties have expressed spare part manufacture DCS installed on Unit 1 Salak Mount Geothermal Power Plant obsolete (Assesment and DCS life cycle support by ABB date August 7, 2009).
Some component of the DCS System is classified as a critical component in the material so procured catagorized spare. Components are obtained for the components derived from the free market and this component very doubtful authencity. If this condition isn't anticipate, this components will someday dissappear from the market. This can lead to the cessation of operation of Salak Mount Geothermal Power Plant for long periods."

"Sebagai antisipasi perubahan teknologi dan trend pasar penggunaan teknologi komunikasi yang juga dipertegas oleh adanya perubahan undang-undang telekomunikasi di Indonesia. Telkom telah membentuk suatu unit kerja yang berorientasi bisnis yang diharapkan dapat merubah pandangan lama menjadi paradigma pertumbuhan kedua melalui bisnis multimedia ("fixed" dan "mobile") dan nantinya dapat secara bertahap menuju "Full Service Network".
Saat ini Telkom telah memperoleh lisensi sebagai penyelenggara jasa maupun jaringan seluler berbasis GSM/DCS 1800 dan dalam persiapannya telah dibangun infrastruktur secara bertahap dan kajian strategik. Unit kerja Telkom dalam bisnis seluler ini dinamai TelkomMobile merencanakan akan mengadakan `launching product' pada kwartal terakhir tahun 2001.
Tujuan dari penulisan tesis ini adalah memberikan suatu rumusan strategi pemasaran untuk dapat dipergunakan oleh TelkomMobile dalam menghadapi persaingan dan fluktuasi pasar seluler sehingga dapat menjaring pelanggan sebanyakbanyaknya dan menambah pendapatan perushaan. Rumusan yang diperoleh dari analisa ini, sesuai dengan kondisi pasar atau lingkungan yang terbentuk atas kebutuhan dan keinginan masyarakat pengguna seluler.
Metode analisa yang dipergunakan adalah dengan pendekatan analisa lingkungan, analisa SWOT, analisa persaingan, analisa bauran pemasaran dengan menggunakan alat bantu analisis sehingga dari seluruh analisa tersebut diperoleh alternatif strategi yang kemudian ditentukan strategi utama dengan menggunakan matrik QSPM.
Strategi pemasaran utama yang diperoleh dari beberapa alternatif strategi yaitu strategi promosi yang informatif dan berkesinambungan diikuti oleh penggelaran produk lebih awal dan menawarkan tarif yang sesuai dengan ragam kandungan produk".

To anticipate the rapid changing of technology, the movement of market trends on communication technology users and the new telecommunication regulation in Indonesia, Telkom has built a business oriented working unit this working unit is expected to change the old perception into second stage paradigm development through the introduction of multimedia business (fixed and mobile) which further would gradually come to full service network.
Currently, Telkom has been given the license to run the services and cellular network based on GSM/DCS 1800 and in preparing for the above mention services the infrastructure has been build in stages and strategic review. The company working unit on cellular business that is called TelkomMobile is planning to launch its product on the end of 2001 trimester.
The objective of this research is to conclude a marketing strategy that can be used by TelkomMobile in dealing with competition and cellular market fluctuation. Furthermore, the strategy would also benefited company by generates more customers and increase the company's revenue. The method that produced from this analysis would meet with the market condition that been build based on cellular user needs and wants.
Environment analysis, SWOT analysis, competition analysis and marketing mix analysis are used as the research method. This information was analyzed by using the analysis tool to achieve the strategic options. Furthermore, the main strategy can be determined by using the QSPM matrix.
The outcome from many strategy alternatives is the main marketing strategy, that is, informative and synchronized promotion strategy which is accompanied by launching the product faster than the competitors and offering the reasonable rate (price) to the product content.
