"[ ABSTRAKVideo games berkembang sangat cepat dengan berbagai inovasi. Pemilihan topik dalamjurnal yang berjudul Deskripsi Adegan Kekerasan di Video Game (Studi Analisis IsiTerhadap Permainan Grand Theft Auto) dilatarbelakangi oleh eksposur kekerasan yangakibatnya sangat buruk pada pemainnya. Jurnal ini diharapkan dapat memberikangambaran akan bentuk kekerasan yang ada di dalam permainan Grand Theft Auto. Fokusanalisis adalah mendeskripsikan perilaku kekerasan yang dikategorikan sebagaikekerasan fisik dan non fisik pada permainan misi akhir Grand Theft Auto V. Metodeyang digunakan adalah metode analisis isi (Berger, 2011). Kekerasan yang seringditemukan adalah kekerasan fisik yaitu pembunuhan menggunakan alat bantu senjata.Adapun kekerasan non fisik sering ditemukan dengan verbal yaitu caci maki dan katakatakasar.

ABSTRACT

Video games are growing rapidly with its innovations. The exposure of violences

becomes the background because it’s giving bad influences to the player. The purpose of

this paper is to explain violence actions in Grand Theft Auto. Focus of this article is to

describe violence behaviour that being categorized as physical and non-physical

violences in Grand Theft Auto V Final Mission. The method that being used in this paper

is content analysis (Berger, 2011). The most violences exposures that can be found in

Grand Theft Auto are physical violences such as attempted murder using weapons and
