"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas politik perkotaan dengan melihat kebijakan pembangunan perumahan di Kota Tangerang Selatan. Skripsi ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Peraturan Daerah Nomor 3 Tahun 2014 mengatur tata ruang perumahan dan kawasan permukiman serta menekan pertumbuhan perumahan yang tidak layak huni.Skripsi ini menggunakan teori growth machine untuk menganalisis relasi kuasa antara Pemerintah Kota Tangerang Selatan dengan aktor bisnis perumahan.Hasil temuan skripsi ini adalah pertumbuhan perumahan di Kota Tangerang Selatan merupakan dampak dari adanya pro growth coalition aktor bisnis perumahan dan pemerintah kota. Hal ini terjadi sejak jaman Orde Baru dan berkaitan dengan pertumbuhan penduduk Kota Tangerang Selatan sebagai kota metropolitan penyangga ibukota negara.

ABSTRACT

This study explains about urban politics by observing housing development policy at South Tangerang City. This study is a qualitative research. The regional regulation number 3 of 2014 regulates spatial system of housing and residential area and also pushes the growth of unworthy housing.

This study uses growth machine theory to analyze the power relation between South Tangerang City Government and Housing Business Actors.

The result of this study is the growth of housing is an effect of pro growth coalition between housing business actors and city government. It has occured since The New Orde era and related to the growth of South Tangerang?s population as a metropolitan city supporting the capital city."
