"Permintaan pasar terhadap produk berteknologi tinggi selalu berubah dari waktu kewaktu dari segi spesifikasi. Untuk menjadi tetap kompetitif, sistem produksi perlu menjadi fleksibel dan dapat di konfigurasi sehingga dapat menghadapi kustomisasi massal. Perakitan fleksibel (FAL) memungkinkan produksi berbagai jenis barang dengan efisiensi tinggi. Salah satu contohnya adalah kartu unit proses grafik (GPU-Card). Perakitan fleksibel memerlukan desain sistem yang komprehensif dan penjadwalan sehingga bisa memaksimalkan penggunaan sumber daya. Studi ini mengadopsi permodelan simulasi berbasis agen (ABMS) untuk perakitan fleksibel karena kemampuan dari ABMS dalam fleksibilitas dan skalabilitas. Kerangka yang diusulkan terdiri dari tiga bagian: lingkungan nyata, lingkungan virtual, dan evaluasi dan analisis. Studi ini menguraikan hasil dari metode pengurutan dan penjadwalan dalam perakitan fleksibel dengan menggunakan permodelan simulasi berbasis agen. Analisa Pareto Frontier dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan konflik kepentingan dari keterlambatan pengiriman produk, hasil produksi, dan utilisasi sumber daya.

Abstrak Berbahasa Inggris:
Market demands of high-tech products always evolves over time by product specification. To be competitive, a production system needs to be flexible and reconfigurable as facing mass-customization. Flexible assembly line (FAL) enables mixed production with high efficiency. One example is graphic processing unit (GPU) cards. FAL requires comprehensive system design and scheduling to fully utilize the resources. This study adopts agent based simulation (ABS) modelling for an FAL because of the abilities of ABS in flexibility and scalability. The proposed framework consists of three parts: real environment, virtual environment, and evaluation and analysis. This study elaborates sequencing and scheduling performances in the GPU-card assembly line by using agent-based simulation modelling. Pareto frontier analysis is conducted to resolve conflicts between part tardiness, throughput, and resource utilization.

"Metode Ward dan metode K-rataan adalah metode kelompok yang teknik-teknik pengelompokannya hanya memperhatikan ukuran jarak antar objek-objek pengamatan tanpa mempertimbangkan aspek statistiknya. Metode kelompok berbasis model adalah metode kelompok yang didasarkan pada aspek statistik, yaitu kriteria kemungkinan maksimum. Metode kelompok berbasis model mempunyai sepuluh model dengan berbagai macam sifat geometris. Penyekatan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan algoritma Ekspektasi-Maksimum (EM), kemudian dengan pendekatan Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC) diperoleh model terbaik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas dari sepuluh metode berbasis model dan kemudian membandingkan hasil pengelompokkannya dibangkitkan melalui program R versi 2.14.1 dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan program Mclust versi 4.0 dengan interface program R. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bhawa metode kelompok berbasis momdel lebih efektif memisahkan kelompok-kelompok yang saling tumpang tindih dibandingkan dengan metode gerombol Ward dan K-rataan."

"ABSTRAK

Tesis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses kebijakan berbagi pengetahuan menjadi pemicu terjadinya inovasi baru. Tesis menjelaskan bagaimana peran berbagi pengetahuan terhadap industri yang bergerak di bidang teknologi tinggi, bagaimana budaya mempengaruhi kebijakan berbagi penngetahuan, dan dokumen kebijakan berbagi pengetahuan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis dokumen atau studi literatur. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Inovasi dapat diciptakan dengan menggunakan alat manajemen pengetahuan yang tepat dan berbagi pengetahuan merupakan salah satu alat yang paling efektif yang dapat digunakan. Selain itu, praktik berbagi pengetahuan ini dapat melebur dengan budaya organisasi dan budaya nasional sehingga membuat suatu industri teknologi tinggi di satu negara memiliki keunggulan yang berbeda dibandingkan dengan industri teknologi tinggi di negara lain.


ABSTRACT


This thesis aims to find out how the knowledge sharing policy process triggers new innovations. The thesis explains how the role of knowledge sharing is in industries engaged in the field of high technology, how culture influences knowledge sharing policies, and knowledge sharing policy documents. This research is a qualitative research with document analysis method or literature study. The results of this research found that innovation can be created using appropriate knowledge management tools and knowledge sharing is one of the most effective tools that can be used. In addition, this practice of sharing knowledge can fuse with the organizational culture and national culture so as to make a high-tech industry in one country have a distinct advantage compared to the high-tech industry in another.

"Our principal concern in this book is to understand three important ideas: learning, technology and innovation, and to examine these ideas and the relationships between them in situ; that is, we examine a number of cases of learning technologies in action in two countries, England and Brazil. The purpose of our study is to provide an explanation of the means to, and constraints on, improvements to educational policies and practices, with particular reference to innovation. We have a plethora of theoretical models that in attempting to deal with causal relations usually come to the conclusion that there are socio-economic-cultural constraints, but these observations largely remain at an abstract level and/or come to very general conclusions that are not of particular help to practitioners in the field. These issues can only be properly addressed after examining the empirical reality and having a spectrum of cases to analyze.
