"Artikel ini membahas peran Badan Pengawas Kegiatan Aparatur Negara dalam melakukan penyelidikan terhadap permasalahan PT. Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia. Kurangnya pengalaman dan adanya kesulitan pasca mengambil alih perusahaan pelayaran Belanda membuat manajerial PT. Pelni tidak bekerja secara optimal dan terus merugi secara finansial. Hal ini mendorong Bapekan terlibat dalam upaya pemecahan permasalahan tersebut. Metode sejarah yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mencakup pengumpulan sumber yang diverifikasi, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Penulis menggunakan sumber arsip, surat kabar sezaman, dan beberapa artikel majalah Departemen Perhubungan Laut sebagai sumber primer dan sekunder. Berbeda dengan kajian-kajian sebelumnya yang membahas permasalahan PT. Pelni di tahun yang sama tanpa adanya campur tangan dari instansi lain, kebaruan penelitian ini yaitu upaya penyelesaian masalah PT. Pelni dengan melibatkan Bapekan. Hasil temuan penelitian ini yaitu, Bapekan berperan aktif melakukan pemetaaan permasalahan di dalam tubuh PT. Pelni. Setelah melakukan pemetaan permasalahan, Bapekan merumuskan saran-saran sebagai bahan pertimbangan PT. Pelni untuk terbebas dari permasalahan yang ada.

This article discusses the role of the State Apparatus Activity Monitoring Agency in conducting investigations into PT. Indonesian National Shipping. The lack of experience and the difficulties after taking over the Dutch shipping company made the management of PT. Pelni is not working optimally and continues to suffer financial losses. This prompted Bapekan to get involved in solving the problem. The historical method used in this research includes collecting legible sources, interpretation, and historiography. The author uses archival sources, contemporary newspapers, and several magazine articles of the Department of Sea Transportation as primary and secondary sources. Unlike the previous studies that discussed the problems of PT. Pelni in the same year without any interference from other agencies, the novelty of this research is an attempt to solve the problem of PT. Pelni involving Bapekan. The findings of this study are that Bapekan plays an active role in mapping problems within PT. Pelni. After solving the problems, Bapekan formulates suggestions for consideration by PT. Pelni to be free from existing problems."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meneliti hubungan antara kepemilikan keluarga, kepemilikan asing, karakteristik komite audit, dan komisaris independen terhadap pengungkapan modal intelektual. Karakteristik komite audit diukur dengan ukuran komite audit dan frekuensi rapat komite audit. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan sampel dari perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2012-2014. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa frekuensi rapat komite audit berpengaruh positif terhadap pengungkapan modal intelektual. Sedangkan kepemilikan keluarga, kepemilikan asing, ukuran komite audit, dan komisaris independen tidak berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan modal intelektual.

This study was conducted to examine the relationship between family ownership, foreign ownership, size of the audit committee, the frequency of audit committee meetings, and independent directors on the disclosure of intellectual capital. The study was conducted using samples of manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2014.

The result shows that the frequency of audit committee meetings has a positive effect on the intellectual capital disclosure. While the family ownership, foreign ownership, size of the audit committee, and independent commisioner have no effect on the intellectual capital disclosure."
