"Ditjen SDPPI sebagai pengelola dan pengatur spektrum frekuensi radio harus dapat mempertahankan kinerja layanannya dalam menetapkan frekuensi radio untuk microwave link yang permohonannya semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan evaluasi untuk mengukur kepuasan pengguna layanan atau kinerja layanannya. Menggunakan KepMenPan No: KEP/25/M.PAN/2/2004 tentang pedoman umum penyusunan indeks kepuasan masyarakat (IKM) unit pelayanan instansi pemerintah ada 14 unsur yang relevan, valid dan reliabel dilakukan untuk menilai kepuasan pemohon izin serta 11 unsur pelayanan ditambahkan dalam penilaian berdasarkan dari perbaikan proses perizinan, perkembangan teknologi informasi dan rekomendasi pengawasan eksternal dengan menggunakan metode survey, gap analysis dan in-dept interview.
Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai IKM sama dengan 77,37 mutu pelayanannya mempunyai nilai B atau berarti kinerja unit pelayanan baik. Empat sektor rekomendasi yang dapat dilakukan Ditjen SDPPI untuk peningkatan kinerja layanannya, yaitu sektor sumber daya manusia, sektor sistem yang diberikan oleh pemberi layanan baik infrastruktur maupun aplikasi, sektor prosedur, aturan dan kebijakan serta informasi, pengaduan dan penganan masalah.
Ditjen SDPPI as an organizer and regulator of radio spectrum frequency for microwave link must be able to maintain the performance of its services in assign a radio frequency to microwave links that petition is increasing from year to year. It is necessary for an evaluation to measure user satisfaction or performance of services. Using KepMenPan No: KEP/25/M.PAN/2/2004 about general guidance of customers satisfaction index (IKM) to government service unit, there are 14 elements that are relevant, valid and reliable performed to assess the satisfaction of the applicant as well as 11 service elements added in based assessment of the licensing process improvement, information technology developments and recommendations of external oversight by using a survey, gap analysis and in-depth interviews methods. From the calculations, IKM (customer satification index) is 77,37 and the grade is B (good). That grade means government services works good. Four sectors recommendation to do Ditjen SDPPI for performance improvement services, they are the human resources sector, the system of services providers in infrastucture and application, procedures, rules and policies sector, and informative, complaint and problem handling sector."
