"Gouden Griffel adalah salah satu penghargaan sastra terpenting untuk sastra anak berbahasa Belanda. Films die Nergens Draaien karya Yorick Goldewijk memenangkan Gouden Griffel pada tahun 2022. Buku ini menceritakan Cato dan petualangannya untuk dapat kembali ke masa lalu dan bertemu dengan ibunya yang sudah tiada. Sebagai gadis yang beranjak remaja, tokoh Cato menunjukkan perubahan dan dinamika di dalam kepribadiannya. Masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana dinamika kepribadian tokoh utama, yaitu Cato, dalam novel Films die Nergens Draaien? Penelitian ini menganalisis kepribadian tokoh Cato dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud tentang id, ego, dan superego yang didukung oleh pendapat William McDougall mengenai naluri manusia. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dinamika kepribadian tokoh utama, yaitu Cato. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tokoh Cato mengalami perubahan id menjadi ego dan id menjadi superego. Tokoh Cato cenderung untuk memenuhi id dengan ego tanpa adanya superego.

Gouden Griffel is one of the most paramount literary awards for Dutch children’s literature. Films die Nergens Draaien (2021) written by Yorick Goldewijk won the Gouden Griffel award in 2022. This book tells the story of Cato and her adventure to go back in time and meet her deceased mother. As a tween, Cato’s character shows change and dynamic in her personality. The reseach’s problem is how is the personality dynamic of the main character, Cato, in the book Films die Nergens Draaien (2021)? This research analyzes Cato’s characteristic using descriptive qualitative methods. The theory used is Sidmunds Freud’s pshycoanalysis theory about id, ego, and superego with the support of William McDougall’s theory of the human instinct. The purpose of this research is to describe the dynamic characterization of the main character, Cato. The result shows that Cato shows change of id becoming ego and id becoming superego. Cato tends to satisfy her id with ego and without superego."

Fokus pada artikel ini adalah memperlihatkan adanya unsur psikologis berupa gangguan kejiwaan yang dimiliki oleh tokoh Aku. Cerpen Lui? menceritakan keadaan tokoh utama ndash; Aku ndash; yang memiliki rasa takut berlebih yang membuatnya melakukan hal yang tidak wajar. Artikel ini menunjukkan gangguan psikologis yang dialami oleh tokoh Aku melalui analisis penokohan serta alur dan latar.
