"Islamofobia merupakan bentuk kebencian terhadap agama Islam dan umatnya. Kebencian terhadap umat Islam ini ditunjukkan oleh partai ultranasionalis sayap kanan, partai Alternative für Desutchland (AfD) yang terlihat pada poster-poster kampanye partai AfD untuk Bundestagwahl tahun 2017 dan Landtagswahl tahun 2018 di negara bagian Bayern. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap teks dan gambar pada lima poster AfD yang mengandung islamofobia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna teks dan gambar poster kampanye partai AfD dan menganalisis kaitan teks dan gambar dalam menampilkan islamofobia dalam poster kampanye AfD. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna yang digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan makna poster poster ini adalah referensial, asosiatif dan afektif. Untuk mengetahui kaitan antara gambar dan teks pada poster-poster ini digunakan teori tanda semiotik untuk mengidentifikasi kaitan tersebut. Karena 4 dari 5 poster yang ditampilkan merupakan ikon membuat pembaca lebih mudah memahami isi poster ini. Satu poster merupakan simbol karena tidak adanya kemiripan antara representamen dan objek.Islamophobia is a form of hatred towards islam as religion and its followers. Hatred towards muslims is shown by a right wing ultranationalist party Alternative für Deutstchland (AfD) which are shown on the campaign posters of the AfD party for the 2017 Bundestagwahl and 2018 Landestagswahl in the state of Bavaria . This research is conducted towards texts and pictures on five AfD Posters which contain islamophobia. The purpose of this research is to describe the meanings and  pictures of  the AfD Campaign Poster. This research has been conducted with a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this research are referential, associative and affective meanings are used to describe the meaning of the text in the posters. In order to find out about the relationship between pictures and text on these posters, the semiotic sign theory is used to identify these links. Because 4 out of 5 posters displayed are icons, it makes it easier for readers to understand the contents of this poster. One poster is a symbol because there are no similarities between representamen and objects."
