Skripsi ini menganalisis tentang beban kerja perawat pelaksana di ruang perawatan umum untuk mengevaluasi kebutuhan tenaga perawat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan analisa menggunakan data kuantitatif. Gambaran mengenai beban kerja didapatkan dari hasil pengamatan dengan metode work sampling dan data perhitungan beban kerja digunakan untuk menghitung kebutuhan tenaga dengan metode workload indicator staffing need.
