"Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah membawa internet. Saat ini internet sudah sangat dekat dan sudah menjadi bagian dari kehidupan manusia. Dengan adanya internet tentunya memunculkan berbagai fenomena di dunia maya, salah satunya munculnya komunitas online yang terbentuk akibat interaksi di dunia maya. Interaksi yang terjadi di dunia maya ini berkaitan dengan pencarian dan pertukaran informasi, seperti yang dibahas dalam tulisan ini adalah pencarian dan pertukaran informasi mengenai review online produk kecantikan. Makalah ini berfokus pada proses membangun kepercayaan di antara anggota komunitas online berdasarkan ulasan online. Membangun kepercayaan ini dapat dilihat melalui pembentukan pengetahuan anggota dan penilaian reputasi dari informasi yang tersedia.

The development of information and communication technology has brought the internet. Currently the internet is very close and has become a part of human life. With the internet, of course, there are various phenomena in cyberspace, one of which is the emergence of online communities formed by interactions in cyberspace. The interactions that occur in this virtual world are related to the search and exchange of information, as discussed in this paper is the search and exchange of information regarding online reviews of beauty products. This paper focuses on the process of building trust among online community members based on online reviews. Building this trust can be seen through the formation of member knowledge and reputation assessment from available information."

"VTuber has become a part of virtual entertainment worldwide since the trend arose in 2020. By looking at the development of VTuber to date, this study seeks to discover the process of how Indonesian female VTubers construct their identity through various elements and the motives that they consider behind female VTubers choosing specific avatars and visual styles or characterizations to represent themselves. To answer such questions, various theories are used, such as semiotics, and avatar culture to be able to interpret the results of the elements that represent their identity. The study finds there are some influences of a certain culture and colors that represent their personality. Furthermore, their authenticity also gains engagement with the audience, which also supports their identity as a VTuber. However, there are some flaws and limitations in some circumstances whenever they consider themselves an independent VTuber or VTuber under an agency. This paper will also briefly compare three Indonesian VTubers in terms of character and personality that represents their virtual identity."

"Perkembangan jaringan internet global mendorong adanya pergeseran interaksi manusia dari yang hanya bertatap muka, kini berkembang menjadi tanpa harus bertatap muka (berbasis internet). Medium interaksi baru ini memicu pertumbuhan kolektif berbasis internet yang sering disebut dengan komunitas online. Dalam komunitas online, anggota komunitas yang ada tidak bersatu karena kesamaan teritorial atau regional, tetapi relasional berdasarkan kepentingan bersama. Makalah ini merupakan bentuk refleksi penulis selama magang dan mengasuh komunitas online bernama Lemonilo Club periode Juni – Desember 2021.Tulisan ini berfokus pada bagaimana proses pembinaan (nurturing) yang melibatkan penulis dapat menciptakan dan memperkuat sense of communities di dalam komunitas Lemonilo Club. Melalui beberapa media dan kegiatan rutin, penulis mengidentifikasi sekaligus mengaktivasi empat elemen yang terekam dalam proses komunitas tersebut antara lain membership, influence, integration and fulfilment of need, dan shared emotional together. Upaya untuk memperkuat sense of community ini sekaligus menjadi upaya yang memperkuat eksistensi komunitas online tersebut.

The development of the global internet network has encouraged a shift in human interaction from face-to-face interaction to not face-to-face interacrion (internet based). This new medium of interaction triggers the growth of internet-based collectives which generally referred to as online communities. In online communities, existing community members are not united because of territorial or regional similarities, but with relational based on shared-interests. This paper is a form of reflection of the author during his internship while nurturing an online community called Lemonilo Club, period June – December 2021. This paper focuses on how the nurturing process involving the author can create and strengthen a sense of communities within the Lemonilo Club Community. Through several media and routine activities, the authors identify and activate four elements recorded in the community process, including membership, influence, integration and fulfillment of need, and shared emotional together. This effort to strengthen the sense of community is also an effort to strengthen the existence of the online community."

"ABSTRAKKarya Ilmiah ini akan mencoba menjelaskan fenomena dikomunitas online bernama Reddit, dimana beberapa Subreddit yang dianggap membuat konten cyberbullying diblokir oleh Reddit. Fenomena tersebut cukup kontroversial mengingat Reddit sangat mengedepankan kebebasan berpendapat. Keputusan untuk memblokir beberapa subreddit yang memiliki konten cyberbullying juga dianggap tidak adil karena masih ada beberapa subreddit lain yang memiliki konten serupa yang masih bias diakses oleh pengguna Reddit. Pemblokiran tersebut berujung kepada penegakan peraturan baru yang diharapkan mampu mencegah konten serupa untuk berada di Reddit. Karya ilmiah ini akan mencoba untuk menelaah masalah ini melalui survey publik, pendapat ahli psikologi terhadap cyberbullying di Reddit, dan analisis tematik dari Reddit sendiri.

ABSTRACTThis paper will try to explain a recent phenomenon in the online community, Reddit, where a number of subreddits are banned under allegations of cyberbullying. This phenomenon is rather odd, as Reddit is known as a place where people can discuss anything. The decision also raised controversy as there are still other subreddits that are similar to the one being banned, but is still online. The banning led to new rules within the site which tries to eliminate cyberbullying. This paper will try to look and explain the issue by gathering opinions from the public, psychology experts, and a thematic analysis of Reddit itself."

"ABSTRAKDengan adanya media sosial konsumen saat ini dapat bertindak sebagai marketingatau PR sehingga membuat perusahaan tidak lagi sebagai sumber utamakomunikasi sebuah brand. Pemasar atau perusahaan dapat memanfaatkankomunitas online yang dibuat oleh pengguna atau anggota komunitas online, karenabanyak melibatkan topik yang berbeda, termasuk mengenai brand dan produkdimana anggotanya saling berbagi pengetahuan, pengalaman dan diskusi mengenaibrand tersebut. Namun, tantangan terbesar dalam membina komunitas onlineadalah penyediaan pengetahuan, serta kemauan untuk terus melanjutkan hubungandalam komunitas. Penelitian ini menyelidiki faktor yang memotivasi knowledgesharing dalam komunitas online, dan meningkatkan hubungan yang berkelanjutandalam komunitas online (relationship continuity). Penelitian ini menggunakan teorimotivasi dan social capital, karena knowledge sharing dalam komunitas onlineadalah proses sosial yang melibatkan interaksi pribadi di antara anggota. Socialcapital terdiri dari structural capital (social interaction), relational capital(identification, trust, reciprocity), dan cognitive capital (shared language danshared vision), motivasi terdiri dari, motivasi intrinsik (enjoyment in helpingothers) dan ekstrinsik (rewards dan reputation). Metode analisis data dilakukandengan analisis deskriptif dan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian inimenemukan bahwa enjoyment in helping others, reputation, social interaction,trust, reciprocity, dan shared language mempengaruhi knowledge sharing,penelitian ini menemukan temuan menarik dimana rewards, identification, danshared vision tidak mempengaruhi knowledge sharing.

ABSTRACTThis study investigates the factors that motivate knowledge sharing within theonline community, and to continually improve sustainable relationships within theonline community. This study uses social capital theory and individual motivation,because knowledge sharing in the online community is a social process involvingpersonal interaction among members, the individual psychology perspective andsociology will be able to explain more about this behavior. Social capital consistsof structural capital (social interaction), relational capital (identification, trust,reciprocity), and cognitive capital (shared language and shared vision), while themotivation is divided into two, namely intrinsic motivation (enjoyment in helpingothers) and extrinsic motivation (rewards and reputation). This research isquantitative research, with respondent member of Female Daily community. Dataanalysis method is done by descriptive analysis and Partial Least Square (PLS) toprove hypothesis in this research. The results of this study found that enjoyment inhelping others, reputation, social interaction, trust, reciprocity, and shared languageinfluence knowledge sharing, but this research finds interesting findings whererewards, identification, and shared vision do not affect knowledge sharing."
