"Penelitian ini tentang implementasi peran manajer rekod dalam mengelola rekod Fakultas Teknik Universitas Indonesia (FT UI). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus untuk memahami proses pengelolaan rekod di FT UI. Hasil penelitian adalah peran manajer rekod di FT UI dijalankan oleh dua orang yaitu sekretaris fakultas dan manajer umum yang mengelola rekod berdasarkan pengetahuan dan kebiasaan mereka walaupun ada pedoman Tata Persuratan. Hal ini juga ditunjukkan oleh pegawai FT UI dalam pekerjaan pengelolaan rekod sehari-hari. Implementasi peran manajer rekod FT UI dipahami sebagai peran simbolik yaitu pada tataran struktur makro ada pada Sekretaris Universitas dan struktur mikro FT UI ada pada Sek Fak tetapi pada kenyataannya pengelolaan rekod di FT UI menurut deskripsi pekerjaan juga ada pada manajer umum.

This research is about the implementation of record manager's role Engineering Faculty of Indonesian University (FTUI). It is qualitative approach with study case method to comprehend record management process at FTUI being conducted. The result shows that the roles of record manager are played by faculty secretary and general manager whom they both manage the record based on their knowledge and experiences. It shows also among the staff whom conducting the practical of record managing. The implementation of record manager's role in managing Engineering Faculty of Indonesian University's record comprehended as symbolic role. It means that structurally in UI record management is on faculty secretary but in fact record management done by general manager."

"Tumpahnya minyak bumi, limbah industri minyak, dan limbah minyak yang dihasilkan oleh kapal laut dapat menyebabkan terjadinya pencemaran pada ekosistem laut. Metode yang efektif dibutuhkan untuk remediasi dan salah satu metode yang efektif adalah menggunakan nanomaterial. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan studi modifikasi pada permukaan nanopartikel magnetit dengan lilin lebah. Nanopartikel magnetit disintesis menggunakan garam Fe2+/Fe3+ dengan perbandingan 1:2 dan basa NH4OH. Nanopartikel magnetit kemudian dimodifikasi permukaannya dengan lilin lebah. Berdasarkan hasil karakterisasi dengan instrumen FTIR didapatkan bahwa lilin lebah berhasil terintegrasi pada permukaan nanopartikel magnetit. Akibatnya hasil pengukuran sudut kontak, terjadi perubahan sifat permukaan dari hidrofilik menjadi hidrofobik. Perubahan ini terjadi karena nanopartikel magnetit yang telah dimodifikasi memiliki nilai sudut kontak diatas 90°. Hasil karakterisasi menggunakan XRD, TEM, HRTEM, dan SAED menunjukkan adanya modifikasi permukaan nanopartikel magnetit dengan lilin lebah tidak mempengaruhi bentuk dan struktur kristal dari nanopartikel magnetit. Karena permukaannya telah bersifat hidrofobik, nanopartikel magnetit termodifikasi lilin lebah dapat digunakan sebagai agen yang selektif untuk remediasi tumpahan minyak bumi.

Oil spillage, oil industry pollutants and hydrophobic pollutants that were produced by ships can cause damage to the marine ecosystem. An effective method is needed to solve this problem, One of it is using nanomaterials. In this study, the modification of magnetite nanoparticles by beeswax were used. Magnetite nanoparticles is synthesized by the salts of Fe2+/Fe3+ in 1:2 ratio respectively and NH4OH as base. The synthesized magnetite nanoparticle surface is then modified using beeswax. According to the FTIR spectrum, it was found that the beeswax is integrated to the nanoparticle's surface. From contact angle measurement, it is concluded that the surface properties changes from hydrophilic into hydrophobic. This change is shown from the modified nanoparticle's contact angle is above 90°. Characterization using XRD, TEM, HRTEM, and SAED shows that the modification on the nanoparticle's surface did not change the shape and structure of the crystal. Because of its hydrophobic nature, beeswax modified magnetite nanoparticle can be used as a selective agent to remediate oil spillages."
