Abstrak :
Salah satu fungsi lensa cekung adalah diigunakan sebagai kacamata penderita rabun jauh. Dalam menentukan kuat lensa diperlukan fokus lensa. Dalam penelitian ini telah dibuat sistem pengukur panjang fokus lensa cekung berbasis mikrokontroller. Sistem tersebut menggunakan sensor cahaya LDR ( Light Diode Reistance ) untuk mendeteksi intensitas cahaya yang dibiaskan oleh lensa cekung. LDR akan digerakkan oleh motor dc menuju titik persebaran cahaya yang dibiaskan dari lensa cekung. Rotary encoder yang terletak didalam motor dc berfungsi untuk menentukan jarak perpindahan sensor cahaya.dan posisi sinar. Mikrokontroller disini berfungsi memerintahkan motor dc untuk menggerakkan sensor cahaya, membaca perpindahan sensor pada jarak horizontal, membaca jarak berkas cahaya sejajar yang dibiaskan oleh lensa cekung dan membaca nilai ADC dari sensor cahaya LDR.

One of function concave lens is used as eyeglasses for long sight diffulty persons. In order to determining the required lens power, the focal length is needed. In this research work, microcontroller-based concave lens focal length measuring system has been made. The system uses LDR (Light Dependent Resistance) light sensor to detect light intensity refracted by the concave lens. The LDR light sensor is moved by the DC motor to the points where the light spread by the concave lens. Rotary encoder located in the DC motor has function to determine the movement distance of the light sensor and the light position. Microcontroller has function to control the DC motor which moves the light sensor, to read the movement of the light sensor at horizontal distance, to read the width of the parallel light beam refracted by the concave lens and also to read ADC (Analog to Digital Coverter) output of the LDR light sensor.
