"Penelitian ini menjelaskan mengenai peran perawat, serta bentuk dukungan sosial yang dilakukan kepada anak penyandang cacat ganda di Wisma Tuna Ganda Palsigunung. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Di dalam penelitian ini di jelaskan bahwa peran perawat dalam memberikan dukungan sosial. Selain itu penelitian ini juga melihat bentuk-bentuk dukungan sosial. Dan juga memperhatikan dampak negatif dan juga manfaat dari pemberian dukungan sosial. Dukungan sosial tersebut dilakukan oleh pimpinan, kepala bagian rehabilitasi, kepala bagian keperawatan, perawatan, dan juga kepala bagian fisioterapi yang sering berinteraksi terhadap anak-anak asuh. Selain itu terdapat pula hambatan yang muncul dalam pemberian dukungan sosial tersebut.

This study describes the role of nurses, as well as forms of social support to children with disabilities do double at Wisma Tuna Ganda Palsigunung. This study is a descriptive qualitative research design. In this study explained that the role of nurses in providing social support. In addition this study also looked at other forms of social support. And also pay attention to the negative impact and also benefits from the provision of social support. Social support is done by the leader, head of rehabilitation, head of nursing, care, and also head of the physiotherapy department who often interact to foster children. In addition there are also obstacles that arise in the provision of social support."

"ABSTRAKStudi constructivist grounded theory ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkanpemahaman mengenai perspektif orang tua dan guru mengenai kelas tari khususpenyandang Down syndrome di Gigi Art of Dance berdasarkan pengalaman mereka.Walau kelas tersebut terbukti menyediakan banyak kesempatan bagi para murid ini, iajuga memiliki makna yang signifikan bagi orang tua dan guru yang terlibat. Berdasarkanobservasi partisipan selama tiga bulan, delapan wawancara mendalam dan memo writing,studi ini berhasil menemukan tiga kategori emergent: ?Mewujudkan Rumah?,?Menginginkan Anak Bersosialisasi? dan ?Mengubah Persepsi?. Hasilnya berkontribusiterhadap manfaat kegiatan seni, khususnya tari, bagi orang tua dan guru penyandangDown syndrome. Ditambah lagi, studi ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya memperhitungkanpengalaman partisipan dalam memahami proses konstruksi makna. ABSTRACTThis constructivist grounded theory study aims to develop a deeper understandingof parents and dance teacher?s perspectives on Down syndrome dance class in Gigi Art ofDance based on their experiences. Although the class itself proves to provide greatopportunities for these students, it also means a great deal for the parents and teacherinvolved. Drawing on three months of participant observation, eight in-depth interviewsand memo writing, this study manages to reveal three emergent categories: ?Realizing aHome?, ?Wanting the Children to Socialize? and ?Changing the Perception?. The resultscontribute to the benefits of the arts, particularly dance, for parents and teachers of peoplewith Down syndrome. In addition, this study highlights the importance of accounting forparticipants? experiences in understanding the process of meaning construction.
