"Skripsi ini membahas tentang struktur cerita dan konflik batin yang terjadi dalam novel Mudzakkarat Thabibah karya Nawal El-Saadawi. Konflik yang terjadi dalam novel ini merupakan konflik antara tokoh utama dengan dirinya sendiri dan dengan orang lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memaparkan tentang cara menyelesaikan konflik. Hasil dari penelitian tokoh utama dalam cerita ini melakukan beberapa tindakan dalam mengekspresikan konflik dalam dirinya, diantaranya tuntutan yang tak henti-henti terhadap diri, tindakan atau dorongan untuk menghancurkan diri sendiri, dan mengatasi konflik dengan menguasai, tawar-menawar, penarikan diri, dan campur tangan orang ketiga.

The focus of this study is about structure of the story and conflicts that happen in Mudzakkarat Thabibah novel by Nawal El-Saadawi. The conflict in this novel is the conflict between the main character with herself and with others. The purpose of this study is to describe how to resolve the conflict.

The results of the study the main character in this story take some action to express the conflict within herself, such as demands are endlessly toward self, action or encouragement to destroy themselves, and resolve the conflicts with domination, negotiation, withdrawal, and third-party intervention."

"ABSTRAKJurnal ini mengkaji mengenai pandangan masyarakat Indonesia terhadap bangsa Arab, menjelaskan sejarah kedatangan bangsa Arab ke Indonesia, menggambarkan kaitan bangsa Arab sebagai bangsa Islam, dan memaparkan dampak pandangan masyarakat Indonesia terhadap bangsa Arab sebagai bangsa Islam. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan cara wawancara dan studi pustaka. Teori dalam buku-buku teks yang digunakan dalam penulisan jurnal ini merupakan hasil dari catatan serta pendapat para ahli. Jurnal ini dibuat bertujuan tidak hanya untuk memenuhi syarat kelulusan saja, tetapi juga untuk menambah wawasan baik bagi penulis maupun bagi pembacanya mengenai kebudayaan bangsa Arab serta kaitannya dengan ajaran Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: bangsa Arab mulai datang ke Indonesia sejak abad 9 Masehi. Karakteristik serta tujuan mayoritas bangsa Arab di Indonesia menimbulkan persepsi bahwa bangsa Arab merupakan bangsa Islam. Adapun dampak dari pandangan tersebut ialah munculnya berbagai fenomena kebudayaan Arab yang diadopsi oleh masyarakat Indonesia dengan anggapan bahwa kebudayaan tersebut merupakan bagian dari ajaran Islam, seperti: panggilan ummi dan abi, panggilan akhi dan ukhti, dan penggunaan cadar.

ABSTRACTAbstract This journal examines the views of Indonesian people towards the Arabs, explaining the history of the arrival of the Arabs in Indonesia, describing the Arabs as the Islamic nation, and describe the impact of Indonesian people 39 s views towards Arabic nations as an Islamic nation. This journal used a descriptive method, by means of interviews, and literature. The theory in text books used in the writing of this journal is the result of the records and experts opinion. This journal was made aiming not only to fulfill the qualification for graduation, but also to broaden both for writers and readers of the Arab culture and its relation with the teachings of Islam. The results showed the Arabs started coming to Indonesia since the 9th century AD. Characteristics and purpose of the majority of the Arabs in Indonesia creates a perception that Arab nations is the nation of Islam. As for the impact of this view is the emergence of the phenomenon of Arab culture adopted by the people of Indonesia on the assumption that culture is a part of Islamic teachings, such as term ummi and abi, akhi and ukhti, and the use of the face veil."
