"ABSTRAK
Tesis ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menemukan hubungan antara pengaturan tarif jasa angkutan penerbangan sejak diberlakukannya Undang – Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 2009 Tentang Penerbangan dengan persaingan serta perlindungan hukum terhadap konsumen pengguna jasa penerbangan dalam menghadapi ketatnya persaingan tarif antar maskapai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif dan dengan metode pengumpulan data studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitan ini menunjukkan bahwa undang – undang penerbangan yang baru menerapkan sistem yang lebih liberal sehingga memunculkan banyak perusahaan penerbangan baru dalam industri penerbangan Indonesia. Ketatnya persaingan membuat masing – masing perusahaan penerbangan semakin kreatif dalam menerapkan strategi penjualan tiket, salah satunya dengan menawarkan promo dengan harga murah. Persaingan tarif jasa angkutan penerbangan ini pada perkembangannya tidak diimbangi oleh meningkatnya standar perlindungan terhadap penumpang sebagai pengguna jasa yang terlihat dari begitu banyaknya terjadi keterlambatan, penolakan ataupun pembatalan penerbangan yang merugikan konsumen. Standard pelayanan jasa yang diberikan juga menurun seiring dengan penghematan biaya operasional yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan penerbangan untuk menghindari kerugian. Oleh karena itu, pengawasan terhadap pelaksanaan penegakkan hukum menjadi hal yang penting agar perusahaan penerbangan lebih menaati hukum yang berlaku dan lebih memperhatikan kepentingan konsumen.

ABSTRACT
This thesis aims to analyze and find the relationship between The Regulation of Tariff in the aviation industry since the enactment of Act - Act No. 1 of 2009 with the competition and consumer protection laws against aviation service users in the face of intense fare competition among airlines’ company. This research using a judicial and normative method with the collection methods of literature study. The focus of this thesis is about tariff competition in the aviation industry that is increasingly tight after the enactment of Act No 1 of 2009 on Aviation. This new Aviation Act is applying a liberal system that led to a lot of Airlines Companies appearance in the industry where they have to compete with each other in order to attracting the consumer. An intense competition among these airlines companies is making them to be more creative in ticket selling strategy. One of many ways is making an offer with a lot of promotion and lowest fare. The Tariff competitions that happen in aviation industry do not balance with the growth of the protection standard for the passenger. As we know that there are so many delayed flights, denied boarding or cancellation which is harming the passenger. The standard of the service in the airlines is also lower than it should be. These things happen because of the airlines companies have to press the daily operational budget to survive in the industry with the low fare offer. This issue is not fair for consumer and has to be solved. Therefore, the role of Indonesia’s government is very important in terms of monitoring the implementation the rule of law in order to make the airlines company more comply with the law and pay close attention to the consumer’s need."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak dari penerapan metode valuasi hasil teknologi penerbangan dan antariksa bagi Lembaga Penerbangan dan Antariksa Nasional (LAPAN). Penelitian ini juga mendiskusikan nilai aset tak berwujud dan lisensi dari kekayaan intelektual yang dihitung melalui tiga pendekatan valuasi, seperti cost-based approach, income-based approach, dan market-based approach, dikaitkan dengan konsep dicounted cash flow. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa metode valuasi kekayaan intelektual yang paling tepat untuk diterapkan di LAPAN adalah cost-based approach dan income-based approach dengan memberikan mekanisme penghitungan nilai moneter kekayaan intelektual yang dibutuhkan LAPAN menuju komersialisasi hasil teknologinya.

This study aims to analyze the impact of the application of valuation methods on the results of aeronautics and space technology for the Indonesian National Institute Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN). This study also discusses the value of intangible assets and licenses from intellectual property that are calculated through three valuation approaches, such as cost-based approach, income-based approach, and market-based approach, associated with concepts cashed in cash flow. The results of this study indicate that the most appropriate intellectual property valuation method to be applied in LAPAN is cost-based approach and income-based approach by providing a mechanism for calculating the monetary value of intellectual property needed by LAPAN towards the commercialization of its results of technology."

"[ABSTRAK
Industri penerbangan tumbuh begitu cepat dalam dua dekade. Jumlah
penumpang meningkat drastis. Di lain pihak, airline menghadapi tantangan terkait
dengan capacity yang bisa disediakan dan faktor eksternal. Meningkatnya
permintaan perjalanan udara tidak selalu sejalan dengan meningkatnya
keuntungan karena industri penerbangan harus berkompetisi dengan rivalnya.
Deregulasi industri penerbangan telah mengubah pintu masuk dan pintu keluar
menjadi lebih fleksibel.
Studi lebih lanjut mengenai penentu profitabilitas industri penerbangan
diperlukan untuk mengetahui faktor yang menjadikan industri ini menguntungkan.
Dengan menggunakan regresi linear berganda, penelitian ini menguji sisi operasi,
keuangan, dan kompetisi terhadap profitabilitas maskapai penerbangan. Hasil dari
penelitian ini mengkonfirmasi penelitian sebelumnya bahwa operasional memberi
dampak terhadap profitabilitas maskapai. Beberapa faktor diuji. Jumlah pesawat
memberi dampak positif terhadap profitabilitas. Meski begitu, peningkatan ini
bisa dilakukan dengan bergabung aliansi sebagai bagian strategi untuk tumbuh.
Sedang tingkat isian pesawat tidak memberi pengaruh.
Konsentrasi trafik perjalanan udara sebagai ukuran kompetisi telah memberi
informasi bahwa hal ini berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas maskapai.
Peningkatan konsentrasi dapat dilakukan melalui penambahan rute dan frekuensi
penerbangan. Selain itu, maskapai bisa menarik konsumen dengan membedakan
kualitas produk antar maskapai. Dikarenakan industri penerbangan tumbuh, maka
diperlukan dukungan modal agar industri penerbangan dapat menyediakan
kapasitas sesuai permintaan perjalanan udara. Tingkat utang memberi pengaruh
positif dalam meningkatkan profitabilitas maskapai dengan limitasi tertentu.

some challenges in conjunction with internal capacity creates and external shocks.
Increasing demand do not linearly increasing profitability since they have to
compete over the rivals. Deregulation airline industry has changing the entry and
exit to market lower.
The study about determinants of airlines profitability is required to ensure
the airlines in profitabile operations. By multiple linear regression, research is
examining operational, financial, and competition issue to find these effect into
profitability. The research results confirmed previous study that operational
performance has affect to airlines profitability. Several factors in operational has
tested. Fleet size as variables operational has consistently impact to profitability.
However, alliances as the other ways increasing size could be considering as part
of strategic to growth while load factor has no affect in predicting profit.

"Skripsi ini membahas tentang peranan maskapai penerbangan Merpati Nusantara Airlines MNA sebagai angkutan udara perintis di Irian Jaya pada tahun 1978 hingga 1997 dan dampaknya bagi masyarakat daerah pedalaman Irian Jaya serta bagi MNA sendiri. Penerbangan perintis adalah penerbangan yang menghubungkan daerah pedalaman yang sulit terhubung dengan moda transportasi lain.
MNA menjadi maskapai yang ditunjuk pemerintah untuk menjalankan operasi penerbangan perintis di beberapa daerah terpencil, khususnya Irian Jaya yang penduduknya sebagian besar tinggal di daerah pedalaman dan terisolasi. Selama melaksanakan operasi penerbangan perintis di Irian Jaya, MNA banyak menghadapi tantangan dan hambatan baik dari segi operasional maupun manajerial.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerbangan perintis yang dilaksanakan oleh MNA memberikan dampak positif bagi penduduk pedalaman Irian Jaya. Namun, operasi penerbangan perintis MNA ini justru tidak berdampak positif bagi perkembangan MNA sebagai maskapai penerbangan yang berorientasi bisnis, karena operasi penerbangan perintis ini tidak menghasilkan keuntungan.

This thesis discusses about the role of Merpati Nusantara Airlines MNA as perintis air transport in Irian Jaya at 1978 until 1997 and its impact for the people of Irian Jaya who lived in remote areas and its impact for MNA itself. The perintis flight connects remote areas that are difficult to connect with other transportation modes.
MNA became the airline designated by the Government to run a perintis flight operations in some remote areas, particularly Irian Jaya whose inhabitants mostly lived in isolated and remote areas. During the perintis flight operations in Irian Jaya, MNA faced many challenges and obstacles both in terms of operational and managerial.
The results of this research suggest that the perintis flights conducted by MNA provides a positive impact for the people in remote areas of Irian Jaya. However, perintis flight operations conducted by MNA did not positively impact to the development of MNA as airline business oriented, as this perintis flight operations do not generate profit.

"ABSTRAK
Tingkat pertumbuhan penerbangan komersial di Indonesia yang terus meningkat dan membuat potensi pertumbuhan industri pemeliharaan pesawat terbang MRO; Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul di Indonesia juga meningkat. Persaingan ketat antara MRO di Indonesia menuntut strategi manajemen kualitas yang tepat agar dapat bersaing secara global. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi manajemen kualitas yang paling tepat untuk perusahaan pesawat terbang Indonesia didasarkan pada model Kano Model, Analytic Hierarchy Process AHP , dan Quality Function Deployment QFD , untuk memahami dan menganalisis kebutuhan pelanggan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah strategi yang dapat diterapkan oleh perusahaan pesawat terbang Indonesia MRO untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk serta mempertahankan keunggulan kompetitif perusahaan.

ABSTRACT
The growth of commercial aviation in Indonesia is increasing and making the potential growth of MRO maintenance, repair, overhaul company. Tight competition among MRO companies in Indonesia demands the right quality management strategy to compete globally. This research objective is to find quality management strategy for Indonesian aircraft MRO companies, based on Kano Model, AHP, and QFD to analyze customer rsquo s need. The results of this study are strategies that can be applied by Indonesian aircraft MRO companies to improve quality and maintain company rsquo s competitive advantage."

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai perlindungan terhadap konsumen selaku
pengguna jasa angkutan udara dalam hal tidak terangkutnya ke dalam suatu
penerbangan terkait kapasitas pesawat udara. Fokus penelitian ini adalah
mengetahui apakah suatu keadaan tidak terangkutnya penumpang karena kapasitas
pesawat udara dapat dikategorikan sebagai perbuatan melawan hukum berdasarkan
KUH Perdata, UUPK, dan peraturan mengenai pengangkutan udara. Serta untuk
mengetahui apakah pertimbangan majelis hakim dalam putusan No.
42/PDT.G/2012/Pn.Jkt.Pst. sudah tepat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian
ini adalah yuridis-normatif. Penulisan skripsi ini menggunakan metode penelitian
kepustakaan dengan data sekunder sebagai sumber datanya. Analisis dalam
penulisan ini dilakukan dengan dasar hukum KUH Perdata, Undang-Undang No. 8
Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen, Undang-Undang No 1 Tahun 2009
tentang Penerbangan, dan peraturan-peraturan lainnya terkait pengangkutan udara.

ABSTRACT
This study discusses protection for passanger as a consumer in case of denied
boarding passanger. The focus of this study was to determine whether denied
boarding passanger is a form of tort based on Indonesian Civil Code, Consumer
Protection Law, and Aviation Regulations. This study also determine if the judge?s
ruling is right seen from the legislation and the theories of law. The method of this
writing was normative juridicial research with secondary data such as research
literature as a source of data. The analyzed was performed with the legal basis of
Indonesian Civil Code, Law Number 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection, Law
Number 1 of 2009 on Aviation, and another Aviation regulations such as Minister
of Transportation regulations.
