Learner controlled task merupakan tugas yang memberi kebebasan penuh pada
siswa untuk mengontrol beberapa dimensi yang ada pada tugas tersebut seperti misalnya
urutan pengerjaan, content, atau lama pengexjaan. Dalam tugas yang demikian siswa
hams mampu mengontrol dan mengarahkan sendiri kegiatan belajamya, karena tidak
ada aturan yang baku mengenai cara pengerjaannya. Asumsi dasar penyusunan tugas
ini adalah agar siswa menjadi meningkat motivasi dan prestasi belajarnya berkaitan
dengan kebebasan yang diberikan pada mereka. Namun pada kenyataannya beberapa
siswa justru menjadi terhambat dan tidak terarah ...
