"Dalam menentukan spesifikasi ruang untuk menciptakan kafe dengan kualitas akustik yang baik, tentu membutuhkan penyelesaian akustik yang berbeda dengan ruangan lainnya, karena memiliki program dan fungsi ruang yang cukup beragam. Ruangan pada kafe yang didatangi berbagai pengunjung., cukup sering menciptakan permasalahan akustik tertentu, karena adanya perbedaan yang cukup signifikan dalam penggunaan ruangnya. Skripsi ini merupakan evaluasi akustik, pada bangunan komunal kafe, yang menggunakan Bermuda Coffee and Eatery sebagai objek studi kasusnya. Evaluasi yang dilakukan berada pada beberapa fase, yang diantaranya adalah pengunjung < 50 %, pengunjung > 70 %, dan pengunjung > 70 % ditambah hujan. Evaluasi akustik dilakukan berdasarkan teori akustik ruang dalam, serta tinjauan lapangan yang berupa perhitungan intensitas bunyi dan Reverberation Time. Hasil evaluasi memperlihatkan bahwa RT objek studi kasus sudah cukup tepat dengan fungsinya, namun geometri dan material yang berada pada bidang di dalam kafe, menciptakan intensitas bunyi yang cukup tinggi pada kafe. Dengan hal ini, objek studi kasus dinilai untuk dapat diperbaiki, untuk memfasilitasi ruang yang lebih rendah bising.

In determining the space specifications to create a cafe with good acoustic qualities, there is a need to require acoustic solutions that differ from other rooms, due to its various programs and functions. Cafe spaces which are visited by various visitors, quite often creates certain acoustic problems, due to the significant difference in space usage. This paper is an acoustic evaluation towards a communal cafe that uses Bermuda Coffee and Eatery as the object of the study case. The evaluation is carried out through several phases, which includes visitors <50%, visitors >70%, and visitors >70% with rainfall. The acoustic evaluation is carried out based on the acoustic theory of indoor space, as well as field reviews that includes sound intensity calculations and Reverberation Time. Evaluation results show that the RT of the case study is quite appropriate based on its function, but the geometry and materials in the area inside the cafe create a fairly high sound intensity. With this, the case study is concluded to be repairable in order to facilitate a lower noise level for the space."
