"Apoteker di apotek memiliki peran salah satunya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan perilaku agar dapat melaksanakan interaksi langsung dengan pasien, berupa pemberian informasi obat dalam kegiatan upaya pelayanan diri sendiri (UPDS). Apoteker menggunakan kompetensi yang dimiliki agar dapat memberikan pilihan obat yang tepat untuk pasien dalam waktu yang telah ditetapkan oleh Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Tahun 2016. Laporan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis waktu pelayanan UPDS di Apotek Kimia Farma Taman Harapan Indah pada periode Maret 2023 serta penggunaan metode who, what, how, action, medicine (WWHAM) untuk menggali informasi dari pasien UPDS. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengamatan langsung dan menghitung waktu pelayanan UPDS menggunakan stopwatch. Hasil pengamatan yang didapatkan selama 10 hari kerja pada waktu shift penulis sebanyak 110 kasus UPDS dengan rerata waktu pelayanan 2 menit 26 detik serta penggunaan metode WWHAM sebesar 23,64%. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah waktu pelayanan UPDS selama 10 hari kerja pada shift penulis di Apotek Kimia Farma Taman Harapan Indah telah sesuai dan memenuhi Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia serta SOP yang berlaku dengan rerata 2 menit 26 detik. Penerapan metode WWHAM dengan persentase 23,64% kasus UPDS yang dilakukan penggalian informasi pada pasien.

Pharmacists have a role, one of which is to improve knowledge, skills and behavior in order to carry out direct interactions with patients, in the form of providing drug information in self-service efforts (UPDS). Pharmacists use their competencies to provide the right drug choices for patients within the time specified by the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Year 2016. This report aims to analyze the UPDS service time at Kimia Farma Taman Harapan Indah Pharmacy in the March 2023 period and the use of the who, what, how, action, medicine (WWHAM) method to extract information from UPDS patients. The method used is direct observation and calculating UPDS service time using a stopwatch. The results of observations obtained during 10 working days during the author's shift were 110 UPDS cases with an average service time of 2 minutes 26 seconds and the use of the WWHAM method of 23.64%. The conclusion obtained is that the UPDS service time for 10 working days on the author's shift at the Kimia Farma Taman Harapan Indah Pharmacy is in accordance with and fulfills the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and the applicable SOP with an average of 2 minutes 26 seconds. Application of the WWHAM method with a percentage of 23.64% of UPDS cases carried out extracting information from patients."
